This was a great six-hour tour. The fast ferry from Skagway to Haines was absolutely beautiful. I saw three impressive waterfalls and learned the story of how glaciers carved the deepest and longest Fjord (Lynn Canal) in North America. The Tongass National Forest was a beautiful contrast to the vivid water color. Christian was an excellent guide, and I immensely enjoyed learning Tlingit culture, bird identification and a unique feature of each bird’s ability, and hearing entertaining Alaska stories. We saw tons of eagles and ate a scrumptious picnic lunch overlooking Chilkoot Lake. Fish were jumping, and birds were putting on a show the whole time. We had time for a quick driving tour of Fort Seward. I love history and enjoyed that. Then, it was time to board the fast ferry for the ride back to Skagway. I highly recommend Christian and this tour for an awesome time in Haines.

We had a great time on our kayaking tour. Mike and Lucy were great guides. The water was super calm that day and it was like were on glass. At the end of the tour they had a really delicious lunch for us. Thanks for a great day!
