What To Expect
Liverpool Cathedral
Here you will see one of the final works by one of the most famous female sculptures of the modern era. You will have a tour of the Lady Chapel and with its famous stained-glass windows this will set the scene for learning about some amazing women, depicted in the windows that have had a long-lasting influence Liverpool’s history and development. Admission to the Cathedral by donation is included in the ticket price.
Blackburne House
With some famous alumni, you hear about the important role this this grade II listed building has played in the education of girls and women.

5.00Pam was an excellent guide - full of knowledge, interest and enthusiasm. The timings were really good which must be very hard to achieve. I felt very welcome and the informal atmosphere meant it was easy to ask questions or make comments. It was truly inspirational and I felt very moved and humbled by what these pioneering and courageous women did to improve the lot of others in many different ways. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The talk was fascinating & Pam is incredibly knowledgeable, with real warmth & humour. It was moving to reflect on the stories of those women who have brought such positive developments to our city and beyond - we’re part of a connectedness that we so often don’t realise. A great night 👏 Will definitely look at your other tours & do some walking!
