  • Exceptional from bringing to end!

We have done a lot of tours as a family and I can confidently say this was one of the best ever.  From beginning to end it was clear that this day was well thought out and we were in good hands.  The communication and care before the trip was amazing. And I loved the extra little thoughtful details sprinkled thought the adventure.   It was great to be seeing the amazing Blue Mountains but not being stuck with large groups and crowds. The kangaroos were amazing the weather was amazing and we even saw a wambat. But all that is secondary to the fact that our guide (Craig) was not only friendly, fun, and knowledgeable (A most) but more importantly. Thoughtful and kind!!  I highly recommend this trip. Especially for families!!!  Enjoy!

Highly recommend this tour as it gave us exposure to several other nature spots in addition to the Blue Mountains. We were able to hike/visit spots that were deep rainforest areas and fields for kangaroo spotting. Our guide also had interesting and useful information about other animals/birds/reptiles/plants that we saw along the way. We were able to find lookout points that are not accessible to large groups/buses and also avoided some of the places that are overfilled with other tourists. What really made this day trip really worth it was that even though you were in a car for several hours getting to places outside of Sydney, our driver/guide was full of information about Sydney and Australian culture. The 6 of us in the van were able to ask any and all questions we had through out the day. This would not be possible on a large bus or if we tried going to the Blue Mountains on our own by train/bus. Things that could make it better would be to keep a tighter control on timing. We got to see everything we wanted to, but it was a close call to see sunset due to some traffic.

Be advised there is alot of climbing through mud and narrow paths. Dress accordingly with hiking boots or good climbing shoes.
