I'm not used to bus touring, let alone a two-day overnight experience, so I was a bit nervous about this trip -- but I shouldn't have worried. Alan whisked us safely to a well-planned series of destinations, timed to coincide with the need to stretch legs, grab refreshments or use a bathroom. He provided the right mix of good-humored banter and informative insight -- as well as a great Scot-themed playlist for the in-between moments of the drive. Just a really well thought out and executed experience, in one of the most beautiful, moody landscapes you could ask for. (Thanks to Alan, I now know the difference between 'atmospheric' Scottish weather and 'dramatic' Scottish weather; we saw both on this trip, gloriously.)

I did a two day tour from Inverness to the Isle of Skye. Our tour guide was Atis and he was amazing! There were some very strong winds and he drove us safely through the stormy weather. He was very attentive, told us interesting things about the places, we went to, took us to the best restaurant for lunch and he even stopped, so we could see and touch some Highland cows 😍. We saw all the major sights on the way. We had a lot of fun as a group with him. Thank you Atis, you’re awesome!

Karen was absolutely the best! Hilarious, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. Our entire two day tour was full of laughs. I appreciated the flexibility in the itinerary due to weather and we still managed to see everything with minimal rain interference. She had the best spots to stop for tea, coffee, and food. Would absolutely come and do this tour again with my kids and friends! Worth every penny.

We started by meeting our guide at the bus station and hopping aboard a nice spacious 16 passenger vehicle. We hit several major sights along the road to Isle of Skye. We made plenty of stops for public restrooms and for snacks and meals. The scenery was just fantastic and I feel we were able many of the sights. Those that had poor visibility on the first day we revisited on the second. As a fairly seasoned traveler I thought our guide - Liall was among the best guides I have seen. He was personable, knowledgeable and fun. He shared so much history as well as some amazing Scottish music that made the drive feel like riding through a movie. We even had a music selection made by each passenger on the ride back to Inverness! He even made sure we stopped for some highland cows. Highly recommend Timberbush tours and The Isle of Skye 2 day tour!

Thank you Liall for a fantastic tour to Skye! I loved every fact learned and every spot visited. A perfect Scotland adventure. Be prepared to sweat if you walk the Fairy Pools. Liall is an excellent driver, funny and knowledgeable. He also makes loads of rainbows appear out of no where. The buses have USB and C ports to charge devices, a huge plus. Timberbush tours is the way to explore.
