Phezulu Safari Park

We will travel along a scenic route to the valley of a thousand hills and you will be guided through the Crocodile farm where you will see one of the largest crocodiles in Kwa Zulu Natal, and a full range of snakes which are indigenous to the area. We will visit a traditional Zulu home at Phezulu for a display of Tribal dancing to pounding drums, and a good opportunity to learn about the proud Zulu nation and their age old customs. Situated some 45min outside of the vibrant city of Durban is a place of peace and tranquility, the village of Isithumba. This is not a "show" village, this is a real working village, with people going about their daily lives; only we've been invited to experience a small piece of their lives. The tour is a walking tour, lasting about 90 min (light activity). We'll get to meet the actual Chief/Headman of the village, as well as the Sangoma (traditional healer).
