This experience was wonderful. This is perfect for getting a glimpse of the Island of Orleans and exploring a few local shops in the area. You won't be able to explore every part of the island, but you will get a good gist of the area. You will also be doing more than what normal tourists might do in Quebec City. I'm a huge foodie so I got a good amount of fun out of this. We went on this tour on a Saturday in December. Our guide was Jean Francois. He was entertaining and knowledgeable. We got a lot done in the amount of time we were out there. Jean really tried to make sure we got to each spot and had a good enough time in each local shop (support local!!). Our bus group had folks from all over (many Americans, yes, I, too, am an American). The chocolate shop was nice to explore though I hear they have more options of offerings (ice cream) during the warmer months. It was definitely on my list of top chocolate shops to check out while here. The second spot was a nougat factory, which was super cool since I've never had it. Then, we went to Cidrerie Verger Bilodeau. This was the highlight for me of all the local shops we checked out. I regret not buying more ice ciders even though I brought back 3-4 bottles. Lastly, we ended our trip with a local family owned apple winery (though this would be more fun during the summer when you can walk in the vineyard). I bought products from each shop and would gladly do it again! We actually booked directly through their website. They even had a coupon to lower the fee for booking directly. Highly recommend this tour!!

It offers exactly what it states it would. Best part is meeting the people both on the tour and directing the tour. Confirms what we always think about the people we meet who operate the establishments along the way. Great people friendly and interesting!

The guide and tour was great and the island was pretty cute. That said, the nougat factory was a bit underwhelming everything else was very positive!

Jean Francois was a great guide and driver! Very personable and outgoing. We hit four stops- a chocolate factory, a nougat factory, a cider house, and a vineyard/winery. All stops were nice, but fairly short. At the chocolate place, there was no where to even sit- we just stood and ate 3 chocolate samples. No water or drink was offered at that time, although there was a small coffee bar where you could purchase a beverage. Overall, this was a very nice tour and a good way to see the highlights of Ile d’Orleans.

We loved this tour of Ile d’Orleans! Even on a snowy day in the winter, we were able to safely visit all of the listed locations with a very friendly and informative host. We would highly recommend for a visit to Quebec!

It was a perfectly timed out trip, with just the right amount of food, fun, and history. And it wasn't too long, so we could enjoy more of Quebec on our own before and after, but with some great snacks and experience under our belts. Our guide (Jean Francois) was knowledgeable and funny. Maybe the price was a little high if you only consider the food, but when you wrap in the transportation to and around the island, it was right.

Fun tour that is 100% with your money. We had Celine and she was 10/10! She provided historical information and even jokes along the way. I highly recommend this tour!

Enthusiastic driver and welcoming businesses, it was a grey day with sleet but we still had a great time.
