Easy way to get a taste of the island. Highly recommend for the escape to the countryside alone, but the tastes are lovely too.

This was a fun, casual tour with 4 stops. We loved tasting the chocolate and nougat, but the cider and wine tasting were our favorite! A little walking involved, but plenty of time to sit and relax. Our driver/guide was fantastic and did the whole thing in French and English to accommodate all guests. Each stop relies on the business owners to elaborate on their product/history, so it's not necessarily a thoroughly guided tour, but was very enjoyable! It's amazing that L'Ile d'Orleans is only about 15 minutes from the city - it feels a world away!! (Images include the vineyard/wine tasting on their beautiful property, chocolate samples...yum!, and the chocolate shop exterior)

I was looking forward to visiting Ile d'Orleans, a beautiful ride and a nice quiet break from the city of Quebec. The island has stunning views and the cutest quaint family owned shops. However, each stop gave the smallest sample portions and the tour felt more like a guided shopping tour to spend and buy at each shop. I expected a bit more to be included, it's truly a "taste" tour, with the exception of the winery, where we were served wine flights and were allowed to sit and enjoy the vineyards.

Jeff was fine, offered some good history. Spent a very long time at one location. When returning to Quebec City, he did not return us to specified location. Roads were closed due to festival - BUT these same roads had been closed for the past 3 days! Clearly he was uninformed / there was a very easy way to return to specified location - taxis had been taking alternate route for past 3 days!! Bus had older passengers, very hot day and Jeff suggested everyone walk back 1/2 mile to the drop off point or he would take another 1/2 hour to arrive by bus. Informed the passengers it was a very short walk when it was not! Totally unprofessional and under prepared for a very solvable situation. Would not recommend unless looking for a cheap option to Ile D’Orleans.
