Currently, the total time for site seeing, attractions and a stop at the beach shows as 3 hours and 20 minutes, the reason for this is because, the transportation time which accounts for an additional 2 hours and 40 minutes, has not been included in the initial figure.

Betty's Hope
Betty's Hope, Antigua's first large-scale sugar plantation, was founded in 1650 by Governor Keynell and developed by the Codrington family from 1674. It became a model estate, known for its efficiency and innovative sugar production techniques. On your visit, you'll see restored windmills, the still house, water catchment systems, and the remains of the manager's house. The site includes an interpretation center with artifacts and exhibits detailing the plantation's history.

5.00We booked Exquisite with Janel for our airport transfers and a day tour around the island. Not only was she the best price, she was very knowledgeable on explaining the history of the island. She also kept in contact since our flight was late upon pick up. She greeted us with a generous smile and a big hug! Her personality is charismatic and she’s very outgoing! During our tour, we had a great day. She was filling us up with some rum punch and we made occasional stops to explain all the different types of trees and fruits on the island. The tour was very informative and fun! She took us to all the historical landmarks. We even stopped for lunch at a stadium and the food was fantastic. She was also very kind to take several photos of us. She was very prompt for Airport transfers, and like I mentioned before, the best prices! Thank you Janel! We will definitely book with your company for future visits 🩷

5.00My family and I had a wonderful time exploring Antigua with Janel as our guide. From the moment she introduced herself and took the time to learn all of our names, it felt like we were being shown around by a friend rather than a tour guide. She has such a friendly, bubbly personality and was incredibly easy to talk to. Janel was extremely knowledgeable about Antigua’s history and culture — she answered every question my very inquisitive father threw at her with patience and clarity! She was also really funny, which kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable throughout the day. You can tell Janel is hardworking and passionate about what she does. She made sure we were all comfortable, engaged, and having a great time. Her taxi was clean and well-maintained, with great air conditioning, and she even had cold water and some tasty juice ready for us. The only (very minor) downside was that some of the roads were a little bumpy — but that’s just part of the island experience, and it certainly didn’t take away from how amazing the tour was. All in all, an excellent experience. We love that we got to support a woman entrepreneur who’s truly doing a fantastic job. Would absolutely book with her again!

5.00I was on the island to celebrate my 45th birthday and found this taxi service on a Facebook group that I joined, and I am certainly glad that did! Janel was consistent, friendly, knowledgeable and always on-time. She went above and beyond to exceed my expectation when my traveling companion forgot her water bottle and I needed her to run to the store for me. It was an absolute joy to ride with her, and I am fully confident offering anyone her services on my referral. — 10 out of 10. Would recommend!!

The price was absolutely fair compared to other offers, especially since we had a private tour. Janel is highly recommended as a tour guide – a fantastic person with excellent offerings!
