As a certified Blue Badge Guide, Louise offers a personalised experience driving you to iconic landmarks and lesser known gems that are inaccessible by public transport. Our Northern Discovery Tour is a whistle stop experience of the north of the Isle of Man. Travelling along some of the world famous TT course, we'll also visit famous landmarks with stops for refreshments and opportunities to purchase souvenirs. Every tour can be tailored to suit your pace, preferences, and individual needs including visiting places that are wheelchair accessible if required, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and discuss your specific needs with us. The tour timings allow for travel between points of interest and refreshments stops.

What To Expect
Laxey
Starting at the Great Laxey Wheel, we discover how Laxey evolved from an insignificant sleepy fishing village to the centre of a lucrative mining community with Lady Isabela, the largest surviving water wheel in the world, standing as a bold statement turning to keep the mines free of water. Entrance to the Wheel if desired can be purchased by the visitor on the day.
Explore this ancient site steeped in mystery where tradition has it as the resting place of the famous Viking Godred Crovan - King Orry. But we will discover that it is a Neolithic place of burial known as a chambered long cairn. Stepping back in time here is truly wonderful experience.

5.00Louise did extra research for our tour to see exactly what we wanted to see. Professional driver and tour guide. We did a half day North tour one day and half day South tour the next. We were able to see a lot of the Isle in the limited time we were there.

5.00We got to see the northern part of the Island at its best (the weather was glorious too). I learned a great deal from a guide that was knowledgable and shared history of the isle with passion and humour. The highight of the tour was seeing the Lighthouse at the Point of Ayre. This tour is worth every penny but what really made this tour so special was Louise herself. Professional, warm and just great company. Thanks Louise
