We leave behind the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, for a full-day small-group adventure to the magical Isle of Skye. We drive along the world-famous Loch Ness, home of the elusive monster, and onwards through the mountains towards the west coast. Majestic mountains give way to vast sea lochs, once used by Vikings as an access route to our lands. We stop at the romantic Eilean Donan Castle with time for you to explore inside (optional, pay locally).
After crossing the Skye Bridge, learn about the island’s myths and legends, as well as the true tales of rival clans and a fugitive prince. Enjoy lunch in the main town of Portee and visit the colourful harbor. Explore the Isle of Skye’s stunning coastline, and marvel at the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, and Kilt Rock. Take in the last of Skye’s otherworldly landscape as we drive through the Highlands back to Inverness.

Great experience! So many beautiful views and our tour guide, Sonia, was fantastic! I definitely recommend booking one of these tours when you visit Scotland. It rained during our day but we were still able to see everything.

I should say this is arugably the best trip i had in the recent times with a third party. Highland tours is so amazing right from the pickup on time, driving across the tricky scotland roads and places and bringing back to inverness. Our tour guide sonia and martin are amazing and the playlist of sonia and her commentary through out the journey is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend anyone who wants to explore scottish highlands from inverness to not think much and go ahead with Highland tours. You will love it. Thanks Highland tours for the wonderful experience and memories. Your team is doing a wonderful job. God Speed to you guys!!!

It was the best tour i’ve had. Sonia was amazing, telling us stories about the highlands. We started to think she was controlling the weather based on how well she timed the various stops with the ever changing weather of isle of skye. I highly recommend!

A really enjoyable and efficient tour, especially if you don't have a car. The stops are frequent, and the guide is funny and open to questions!
