We leave behind the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, for a full-day small-group adventure to the magical Isle of Skye. We drive along the world-famous Loch Ness, home of the elusive monster, and onwards through the mountains towards the west coast. Majestic mountains give way to vast sea lochs, once used by Vikings as an access route to our lands. We stop at the romantic Eilean Donan Castle with time for you to explore inside (optional, pay locally).
After crossing the Skye Bridge, learn about the island’s myths and legends, as well as the true tales of rival clans and a fugitive prince. Enjoy lunch in the main town of Portee and visit the colourful harbor. Explore the Isle of Skye’s stunning coastline, and marvel at the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, and Kilt Rock. Take in the last of Skye’s otherworldly landscape as we drive through the Highlands back to Inverness.

This tour was absolutely incredible. I loved every minute of it. The itinerary was very well planned, we visited so many stunning places, the landscapes were breathtaking, especially around the Isle of Skye , these are places that would be very difficult to organize on your own. What truly made the experience stand out was Emily. She was both the driver and the guide, which is already impressive, but she did it all flawlessly. She was friendly, energetic, and highly professional throughout the entire trip. She shared fascinating stories about Scotland, the locations we visited, and even local legends, which made the journey not just beautiful but also really engaging.

This was definitely our favourite day during our stay in Scotland. Our guide Emiliy was so kind and charismatic, she made szre that we get enough but not too much information, her time management was excellent even thoug it felt like a bit of rush sometimes. The sights were amazing and the vibes truly charming. 100%recommend her trip.

The excursion could not be more pleasant. The organization of stops and times, perfect. Martin and Tim's comments are always enlightening and timely. Very good soundtrack. We had snow, rain, sun and wind but Tim’s safety behind the wheel means you can enjoy the tour quietly Makes me want to come back.

It was a great tour with scenic, breathtaking viewpoints, castle glimpses and visit, fairy tales, and getting in a lunch stop at the capital of Isle of Skye. The driver (Craig) and guide (Martin) engaged us with the history of the area and stories from the past. Great recommendations for lunch. Ample time for our stops. Highly recommended!

We had a really great time thanks to the funniest guides Martin and Craig who carried us in a beautiful and well organised tour through an unforgettable experience in which we had the chance to visit the main attractions of the pictoresque Scottish Highlands.

Our tour guide was Tim. He was very knowledgeable, patient and an overall genuine person. We learned more driving around with Tim than any other tour we went on. His driving was safe, and he also was very respectable. He also was very fun and enjoyable to talk to. Thank you Tim for driving us Americans around and for spotting out the Sea Eagle.
