Church very well preserved and in permanent restoration, it is one of the peak works of Byzantine art. Its meaning is Divine Wisdom and is dedicated to the second person of the Holy Trinity. For almost a century it was the spiritual center of the Byzantine Empire, the cathedral of the patriarchs, the scene of important state events and the setting of a splendid ceremony in which the dignity of the theocratic empire was manifested power

Great outing with Oguzhan Ceylan (Ozzy) of Istanbul Walks. He was informative and entertaining at the same time. We took our time at each venue and was never rushed. Lunch served at Osmani was delicious - just like home cooked food with many dishes to choose from. We enjoyed the friendly service here as well. Highly recommended!

The Istanbul Small-Group Walking Tour is an easy way to see the highlights Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. Becareful, the palace is closed on Tuesday and when I found out, they changed the tour date for me. We stayed at the palace after the tour so we could see the harmen that's extra. The lunch was delicious.

the day started with my guide picking me up at my hotel. He arrived earlier to check out the hotel location. He showed us around haggia Sofia, the blue mosque, the old columns of hippodrome, Topkapi palace and grand bazaar. I must say he is very knowledgeable and looked after his guests. He gave me a lot of insights and tips for the rest of my time in Istanbul :))))

Sign up for this tour to see the must-see all in a day. The tour can be quite rushed as there are a lot to cover. It's the only tour that we do not have time to visit the gift shops! The guide is interesting and takes time to explain each venue.

Our guide, Ahmet, was incredibly well-informed on the highlights of the old city. I would definitely recommend this tour, early-on, during a trip to Istanbul. I only wished I had more time to spend there.
