Amazing service! Our driver, Mario, was such a pleasure, kept in communication with us leading up to our pickup, and quelled our nervous stomachs as we traversed the windy, mountainous roads. Our guide at Iximche, Melvin, was amazing! So kind and knowledgeable. It was great to get such a robust tour and explanation of the site, its significance, and the complexity of Mayan culture throughout the region. We would gladly work with either of them again!

Our driver, Federico was lovely and extremely helpful. The ruins themselves were underwhelming. Our guide was not ready for us at the time we understood our tour was to start. He was already with another tour so we had to go on our own.

Our tour guide really helped us understand the ruins and the Mayan culture behind it. We saw a religious fire ceremony taking place while there.

Our driver Marcelino was great. Friendly and helpful and safe. Our guide Alex was equally amazing, a Tecpan native, he shared his knowledge on the history of his people.

Lee was a fantastic guide! He was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to about Mayan history and culture on our drive to and from Iximche. This trip was part of our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday gift from me. He and I had such a great time and learned so much. We got to see Mayans conduct ceremonies as well which was interesting and surreal. It was overall an enriching experience.

We were kind of skeptical about booking this, but we are SO glad we did. Everyone was very accomodating -- it was very easy to figure out where to get picked up and what exactly was going to happen on the tour. Our local guide Sam was extraordinarily good at his job, and made the tour extra good. If you're struggling to find some stuff to do around Lake Atitlan, this detour is definitely worth it!

We had Alex as out tour guide on this trip to the Iximche Mayan Ruins. He is awesome! Alex knows the area very well and understands the culture as he is of Mayan decent. The ruins were beautiful and very well maintained. You can feel the history at this site. Once again, we learned more about the Mayan culture than we ever expected.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Guatemala! Our guide was amazing and shared so much knowledge about these Mayan ruins and current day Mayan culture. We even got to watch a ceremony taking place at the park! I was reluctant to book as I usally do not like guided tours but this was great
