A wonderful experience after taking the Bogor trip. Everything was on time, all the amenities were as booked, and most importantly, the trip guide was exceptional, picking the perfect spots, visiting waterfalls for just a glimpse of the natural greenery, and enjoying the lush rice paddies, all with perfect timing.

The experience we got was really good. We got picked up at by the driver and the certified guide our hotel in the airport(*) at around 10:00. Then we visited the botanical garden which is a really nice place with local plants and trees, some animals. The botanical garden is huge, so we toured with a golf cart(*). Afterwards we went to see some rice terasses and had lunch there (chicken + rice and some vegetables). After that, we went to the waterfall which is in the jungle/forest. To reach there, we had to walk through a sma river. The kids really enjoyed this. Also wild monkeys could be seen there. While walking, we saw a zip line and decided to also do this after the waterfall. The guide did not rush at all and we had plenty of time. The zip lining experience(*) also was great. Seven ziplines over a high valley. After that we drove about an hour to some local puppet manufacturing. It was nice to see but honestly it felt like this is the part we you are encouraged to buy something. The people were friendly and explained how. They make the puppets. As we're not interested to buy anything we left and drove back to the hotel (1:30 hours) and we're back at around 20:00. So in total we where away 10 hours. I totally recommend the experience and kudos to the tour guide, who also stopped at pharmacy at our request. The tour guide was experienced, professional and we felt very welcomed. (* Extra fees applied. 250k IDR for the pickup and ~350k per person for the zip lining)

My tour guide, Rachel, was very friendly and considerate. She made sure I was satisfied with each stop and made sure I made full use of my time there. All of the places were beautiful. The itinerary was well planned and transportation was provided from my hotel. I didnt have to worry much except for enjoying myself there! Botanical Garden: Everything felt like heaven and earth. Place is quite big but fret not as there are scooter rentals around for you to cover the facility Wayang Golek: Experience humbled me and I learnt a thing or two about the Indonesian culture. Rice terrace: Had our complimentary lunch here. There's a cafe at the rice terrace itself and the place was just a vibe! Waterfall: A more strenuous walk. Worth the exhaustion because the waterfall was beyond this world. Took a dip in the fresh water. A cherry on top to end the whole trip here. :)

I do thank Mas Ivan for the kind and friendly guided tour. Bogor Botanical Garden is amazing: I will definetely go back and spend a whole day walking around the monumental trees and relaxing lakes. We then went to the waterfalls: it was Sunday, so there were several people enjoying the fresh water ( I recommend shorts and water shoes, since there might be the chance to walk in the water to reach the destination). The rice terrace is worth a visit: you will meet different small lizards and have lunch at the restaurant there (I skipped the meal to avoid any problem with the car trip ;-)). Last stage, the wood puppet artist: I must say that even if I recognize the ability of the artisan and truely appreciate the hospitality, I would probably avoid this stop.

Hanny was my guide for my time out in Bogor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She was a very accommodating guide, I used this tour as a way to beat jet lag on my day off and she matched my energy perfectly. The content of the tour is wonderful, the botanical garden is incredibly impressive, the puppet house was insightful (bring cash if you want to purchase anything), the rice terrace and lunch was a highlight of the day, and the waterfall was a perfect way to end the day. I was picked up around 7 am and they made sure to drop me off off around 4 so I could make my dinner plans. Great hosts, great way to spend the day. Props to the driver as well, he made the day exceptionally easy.

The botanic gardens, the waterfall and the rice terrace were amazing sights to behold. Thank you again Marysa and Imran.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ivan is the Best—He Even Saved Me from Monkeys! This Bogor tour was amazing, but my guide Ivan made it unforgettable. As a solo female traveler I never felt uncomfortable with Ivan. From the stunning Botanical Gardens to the puppet makers shop, rice fields, waterfall hike, and a delicious Sundanese lunch—everything was perfect. But the highlight? Ivan literally saved me from a group of stealthy monkeys on the waterfall trail! He stayed calm, kept them at bay, and made sure I felt safe the entire time. Ivan shared so much local insight and made me feel like I was exploring with a friend. He even helped me practice my Bahasa! Ivan helped save an abandoned kitten that we found on a trail...he's the best! Ivan’s knowledge, kindness, and quick thinking made this one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. And I've been on a lot! Ask for him—you won’t regret it!
