After monument, we proceed to other the church walking 3 minutes to the mosque, arrive and enter to Cathedral which is the old catholic church was rebuilt 1899 to 1901 that ruin after earthquake, the church standing over years, in the church spend of 10 minutes, then we will visit Istiqlal mosque which is opposite the church. Istiqlal mosque named Independent which built 1961 formerly as the Wilhelmina garden in front of church, Then we are crossing the street while you hands just off.

5.00I stayed in Jakarta an extra day when I saw this trip was available and I am so glad I did. It was an incredible day. Ms. Siti and Mr. Pak Riswan immediately put me at my ease and gave such thoughtful answers to my questions. We stopped at the mosque and the cathedral, the Confucian temple. Ms Siti and I had a delicious lunch and a really thoughtful conversation. We visited the old harbor and city square, and each time I saw something interesting my guides were quick to make sure I got a chance to take all the photos and ask all the questions I wanted. Looking back I can’t believe how much we saw in a short day. I highly recommend this tour to lovers of history and theology, and anyone open to meeting the lovely people running this tour in this warm, spicy, and deeply interesting city.
