After we arrive at Istiqlal mosque we can do some pictures of mosque and Cathedral at outside. Before we go in the Mosque we the guide bring you inside then Explore the mosque will be completed to other travelers. while entering the mosque providing to take off shoes due to of Muslim regulation and we stay waiting other travelers to explore by local guide. Istiqlal also called Independence mosque which is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the 9th largest mosque in the world in terms of worshiper capacity. after finished proceed to across the street on one hands off most experience then visit the old church.
Jakarta Cathedral
After we arrived at Church then we just take some photos out side or we can visit while you can see the design of Cathedral in Jakarta. Cathedral is one of the old church standing before the mosque, so the area has in a story since Dutch era. This is neo-gothic church was consecrated in 1901 having been rebuilt at same location. The Jakarta cathedral is located near Merdeka square, presidential palace and in front of istiqlal mosque. we visiting in one step then continue for sightseeing and photostop at monument.

5.00Ivan was a knowledgeable guide with very good English. His driver was efficient. We saw all of the highlights of Jakarta. We met at the Mal Artha Grading as the cruise operated a shuttle to the Mall. Ivan arranged for the driver to return us to the cruise port which was very nice.

5.00This was a last minute booking the night before but they responded right away and confirmed the pick up time. Everything was as described and our guide Enok was terrific. She and the driver worked well together to drop us off and pick us up at the various sights, there was no time lost. She was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. It was a great way to get a quick taste of Jakarta!

5.00This was such a delightful tour! Our guide Enok clearly loves what she does and is so knowledgeable about the city’s history. Our driver Man was also great at navigating Jakarta’s very challenging traffic. My husband and I are visiting for our son’s wedding and wanted to take a break from the wedding activities and see a bit of the city. Very happy we booked this tour. Loved walking through the Chinatown market and Old Town, and a surprising highlight was a stop at a puppet studio for a demo on the art of puppet making. Fascinating!

5.00We really enjoyed this tour. I usually don’t take part in guided sightseeing tours, so I had some reservations at first, but I’m genuinely glad we chose this one. It turned out to be a great way to discover Jakarta, both the modern city and the Old Town, in a short amount of time. Our guide, Ine, was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and very attentive. She made the experience feel personal and relaxed, not touristy at all. Highly recommended, even if you’re normally not into organized tours.

She worked very well with our driver, who did a really nice job of getting to where he could meet us, in spite of some very challenging traffic situations. Hanny was responsive to our wishes regarding the things that we wanted to see and do. She was super helpful in telling us, in detail, about places we were visiting and attractions we were seeing.
