Why don't you experience the traditional Japanese culture "tea ceremony" in the beautiful old townscape of "Kurashiki"? It is a casual tea ceremony experience that even first-timers can enjoy. A tea room where you can experience a traditional tea ceremony. No need to worry about clothes or belongings. Everything you need for the experience will be prepared here. While taking care not to hurt your feet as much as possible, we will carefully explain things about the tea ceremony and the meaning of the etiquette. We loved our private tea ceremony with Soshin! She welcomed us into her beautiful home close to the historic district and guided us through each step. She accommodated our son who had a leg injury and after serving us her incredible matcha tea, taught us how to serve it to one another. It will be one of our favorite experiences to remember from our trip all over Japan.

Great experience ! Everything was very well explained and clear and you even get to make your own matcha, we had a really good time and really felt welcome. We definitly recommend this activity if you are in Kurashiki.

We recently joined a private class for the Japanese tea ceremony, and we had an amazing time! The hour flew by, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Soshin, our tutor, is incredibly elegant and friendly. She is very attentive and guides us step by step through the ceremony, including how to make Matcha. Her deep knowledge of Japanese traditional practices really shines through, and she also provides excellent travel recommendations for Kurashiki. Highly recommend this experience!
