What To Expect
We explain you the map of the island, give you our contact info, explain the best spots to stop on the island, best spots to see, and you have wrangler for entire day. We pick you up from Cruise Port, or hotel if staying at a hotel, and bring you to company. You will experience the breeze, sun, and vibe of the island, with this Jeep. Enjoy all the beaches and off road locations. From Orient Bay Beach, to Grand Case, to Mullet Bay Beach, and even the famous Maho Beach. Enjoy the airco if feeling hot, or the sun if seeking heat. We recommend you download googles offline map for navigation, or travel with data roaming! These Jeeps are not new, they are made for getting wet, and dirty, and off roading. Do not expect new vehicles. These vehicles are for you to take sun, get wet, and have fun, not to drive in luxury!!!

1.00The directions weren’t clear about the pickup point. We walked all the way into town and back and finally had someone pick up my husband on a 4 wheeler. The Jeep itself was in terrible shape. All the lights were on and it kept beeping at us. I was so nervous it was going to break down that we didn’t dare go far. We rented it the entire day but only kept it a couple of hours. The inside was filthy and not just from a few rentals. I don’t think it had ever been cleaned. I most definitely would not recommend this place.

3.00Was a great option to drive the whole island and explore on our own. Jeep was older and was a little worried as had to wait for them to add fluid to vehicle. Felt should have been ready for us before we got there. Overall great experience and jeep operated.

1.00Old equipment, no adjustable driver seat, broken unworkable horn, no driver window lever. No alternative rental jeep available. Office was a shack. Ended rental much earlier than planned. Dangerous to operate. Refund of full amount of $254 requested. Only $138 refund promised. Very disappointing.

3.00All in all, OK. However, the Jeep was "through" - all the lights on the dashboard were on, tires were slippery - things like that shouldn't be allowed to go out again.

1.00Tooo bad I can't give no stars. We rented a jeep to drive ourselves. The vehicle was in terrible condition. Engine light on all the time. Engine kept slipping and hard to go in reverse. Lots of rust inside the car and loose wires hanging from the dashboard. No navigation in the vehicle. No street signs, no addresses, no street names or numbers and no signs saying where you are or what is ahead in St. Maarten. The company's directions were "bear right." Well, we wound up in some of the worst areas of the island. We only found our way back to port port by finally spotting a tour bus and followed them. The worst time ever. Disgusting that they take you money - of course upfront.

1.00No signs on roads impossible to navigate you really need the map video downloaded. No internet service in most of the island. Jeep had every service light lit it still drove but transmission slipped and sometimes i couldn’t get it in reverse. I stress you need the map video downloaded. The paper map is useless. they give you. This could be so much better if the navigation screen in the jeep worked. $200 for one day is way overpriced. When I returned to the company i was alone. Im sorry ATV island but you need to get better.

3.00Jeep was all beat up. Every caution light was lit up on the dashboard. Jeep was filthy. Windows needed to be washed and wiper’s didn’t work. Discrimination said they were 2023 jeeps. Maybe 2013 if lucky. Shocks were non existent. On the plus side it did go forward and backwards

5.00We rented a Jeep for the day and explored the island on our own time. It was a great way to see everything we wanted. Junior picked us up and dropped us off at the port making everything very easy. I would highly recommend ATV Island.

5.00So neat to be able to explore on our own time! We highly recommend watching the video map a couple of times ahead of going and downloading it to follow the route as it is easier than the map. The group will suggest going to Friar’s Beach which is a little off the guided video but well worth it as it is great snorkeling, beautiful beach, no crowds, and good food. We will definitely rent from ATV island again when we return!
