What To Expect
Jeju Island Nature and Heritage Tour
Enjoy all natural attractions including two unesco sites manjang cave and Sungsan sunrise peak if you choose east side course. South side course includes waterfalls and cliffs and osulloc green tea field. Westside course will cover aewol cafe street a d kwagji beach and geo park, sanbang and yongmeri coast. Clients need to pay entrance fees. John could offer 20% discounts for any private attractions such as museums ,botanical gardens, aquarium,Submarine and boats tours other than government operation entrance tickets. To see whole jeju island you will need 3 days. But itenary could be flexible base on your needs and wants. You may discuss with john face to face to discuss your itinerary on tour day. 3.00I am going to be honest in this review. John, the owner, was difficult to interact with in terms of the itinerary,. Please note there is a $50 surcharge for pickup outside Jeju City. Mr. Jung is very nice but does not speak great English. He picked us up in an “Uber Taxi” vehicle. In actuality, the tour was of natural wonders with one Temple. He dropped us off with directions and waited outside each place. For such an expensive tour, the “guide” did not explain much and since he left us, we didn’t even have anyone to consistently take photos of us. Also, for a tour of this cost, we were left to pay all of our entrance fees (2000 SKW pp generally at multiple locations, so while not costly, I felt nickle-and-dimed). In summary, for a $300 tour ($250 + $50), we did not get the service expected from a guided tour but instead essentially got a driver and the small entrance fees were not included. Finally, we were sent to a tourist trap disguised as a museum, called Ossullac. I heard another tourist asking her guide where the museum was, or was it only a store? It had an observatory upstairs for the tea plantations, but was mainly a coffee shop with gift items. We were advised to go to the Innisfree cosmetic shop afterwards—more shopping. At the airport in Jeju, there was an information Kiosk which had phone numbers of driver services to the travel locations. I would recommend this instead, as it seems equivalent and cheaper.

Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging throughout the entire experience. We learned so much while also having a great time. Highly recommended!

5.00Mr. Cho was our driver for two days. He was extremely kind, always on time and helped us organize an itinerary where we were able to see beautiful locations we hadn’t planned originally. He was also flexible to include museums that we wanted to go to and helped us buying the tickets for each of them. One of us had to leave to the airport earlier on the second day and he kindly helped us arrange another taxi. Overall a highly recommended experience and will definitely book it again my next time in Jeju.

5.00Mr Hong was fantastic! We had a great day travelling around Jeju Island with Mr Hong. Mr Hong’s car was immaculate, and he always ensured all family members were looked after as they entered and exited the van. He also made sure he took our family photos at all the best locations making lovely memories for us. Jeju Stone Park was a highlight with Mr Hong sharing his knowledge of the history of the stones and volcanic background of the island. We toured other places including unesco world heritage sites and looking along the coast to try to see some of the women divers in action. Mr Hong helped us order from a local Jeju Island seafood restaurant, allowing us to try fresh seafood such as abalone, octopus, crab as well as black pork. We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour and highly recommend Mr Hong!

5.00We had a very enjoyable day with John. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and the 8 hrs flew by. He took us to really amazing locations and we never felt rushed. He was polite, kind and very knowledgeable. We really liked all the stories and history about Jeju island. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with John.
