Our tour guide met us a Daejeon instead of Seoul, and from there he drove us to Jeonju. Jeonju is a beautiful city and wished we stayed there longer (1 1/2 hours total). He parked the car far from the city area and we walked throughout- it could've been better to get a parking spots closer so we could stay longer instead of rushing us. He took us first to another place that was at the other side of the city to get the hanbok dresses and from there walked to the Hanok Village where we stopped at the Gyeonggijeon Shrin, then we walked to the library, and the museum where we saw the paintings of the kings and left (he said we didn't have time to go downstairs to see the dresses of the queens, etc). When we asked if we could go see some the little houses, we were told that we couldn't as we didn't have time. The next stop was having lunch, which was amazing! but to tell you the truth, we would've prefer to spend less time eating and more time in the village. We asked him about the chocopies and coffee and he graciously took us there (buy them - they are so good!!). After getting coffee, he said we were going to the Tapsa Temple and we couldn't go see the Village from the hilltop (something we really wanted to do) :-( When arrived at the Temple, we walked uphill for maybe 10 minutes and were able to visit the site (kept hiking) - I personally liked it but my sister wasn't very happy with all the hiking due to her health. Once we were done there (30 mins), he drove us back to the station to get the train back to Seoul. Our guide was very friendly and engaging for sure. Our only recommendation is to do just one area instead of cramping those 2 in a 6 hour tour. If you ask me, I would rather stay the whole time in Jeonju learning about the culture, visiting all the houses, and shopping around the village than rushing in/out of the place.

Tapsa Temple was one of the most memorable places I visited. The stone towers were so unique and the surrounding mountains made the place feel even more special. Dos explained the history of the temple very well while we explored the area.

I joined the Jeonju tour with my sister and it became one of the highlights of our trip in Korea. The day was very well organized and Dos explained the history of Jeonju and the Hanok Village in a simple and interesting way, which made the walk through the village much more enjoyable. The temple had a calm and sacred atmosphere. During other tours we joined in Korea, the explanations were usually too short and mostly focused on modern history. Actually, we were curious about how Korean history began, but no one really explained it well, because it sometimes felt difficult to follow without much background knowledge, and occasionally the pronunciation or wording made it harder to understand. However, Dos explained the overall history of Korea in a very clear and simple way. Even without any background knowledge, it was quite easy to follow his stories, and his English was very fluent. Because of that, we could really enjoy the historical sites and the beautiful scenery during the tour instead of feeling lost in complicated explanations. We are planning to stay in Korea for a couple of months and want to join another one of his tours again. I highly recommend this tour to people who want to explore regional areas of Korea.

My sister and I recently joined this Jeonju day tour. Everything was very easy from the start, and the instructions for the train and meeting point were simple to follow. Jeonju Hanok Village is beautiful and guide Dos shared many interesting stories about Korean history and traditions while we walked around. We really enjoyed his explanation about the village and the heritage there. He even introduced us to some local snacks and shops to visit during the tour! He seemed to know everything about the village and its history. Tapsa Temple had magnificent scenery, just as he said. The stone towers looked literally mysterious, as they've been standing for over a century without any glue or cement. He also brought us to another temple over the hill and we loved the place! It was overwhelming to stand in the middle of two big rocks. Dos organized the time perfectly so nothing felt rushed! Thanks to his good planning, we could explore the attractions at a relaxing pace during the tour. It was a fantastic tour and also the best experience we had in Korea! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience traditional Korea in one day.

Took a day trip from Seoul to see some of the country areas around Jeonju. Dos looked after us well throughout the day and taught us a lot about Korea's history and the sites we visited. His English is fantastic, and effortlessly translated for us when talking with the locals. He noted that we are fans of culinary class wars and took us to a great restaurant for lunch with one of the stars. Really recommend a trip with Dos ! Would highly recommend his safe hands for anyone looking to do a tour.

I was planning this trip with Dream Journey Korea since June 2025 and I finally made it. Absolutely recommended! The trip was really amazing, Dos is really patient and knows a lot of things about Korea. He is really enthusiastic and a really great tour guide. The group has good time, we had chilly, but sunny day. Everything went smooth, we had enough time everywhere. We had a great lunch based on Dos’ recommendation. I say it again, Dream Journey Korea trips are recommended.

This is so far the best experience I had in Korea for a guided tour. First off, I thought the tour was going to be cancelled since I was the only participant (others cancelled). I’m very thankful to Dos for doing the tour even though it was only me. Dos is very knowledgeable about Korean history and culture. I had a fun and comfortable day learning about the history of the places that we visited. His extensive knowledge added value to the experience. It was really a beautiful day, even though the weather was gloomy, exploring in hanbok the Gyeongjieon Shrine and Jeonju Hanok Village. A great bonus is that I was able to go inside the Jeondong Cathedral and offer some prayers. Of course I had to taste bibimbap where it originated, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a must when you visit Jeonju. The Tapsa Temples are beyond what I imagined. Beuatiful, serene place with extraordinary story. I think I would want to go back there during spring or even during fall. Big thanks to Dos and I’m totally recommending this trip to my friends for sure 👍🏽 👍🏽
