Where did the Jews come from, where did they live, what did they occupy themselves with and what was their relationship to the non-Jewish population? A fascinating history with a lot of special knowledge, but also numerous anecdotes. The city guide´s explanations are tourist-friendly and no previous knowledge is necessary to follow the stories.

What To Expect
At Plac Grzybowski is our meeting place. Jewish life in Warsaw had its central point here. Only a part of the adjacent ulica Prozna remains. In addition, around the corner is the last surviving Jewish Community synagogue in Warsaw.

5.00We booked the Jewish ghetto free tour yesterday morning for the afternoon in English. Nikki g was easy, email confirmation and started on time. Our guide Robert introduced us to the square and was very clear and easily to understand. Very knowledgable and related the info to various people that had an impact - can recommend this tour. Fair bit of walking but was expected. Would consider other tours with this company if in Warsaw again. Thanks Robert!

He provided very detailed information regarding each site that we visited, and read poignant quotes and poems from important figures from Jewish history in Warsaw. I left the tour with a much greater understanding of the history of the Warsaw Ghetto. Robert happily answered my numerous questions regarding genealogy/Warsaw, so this was a huge added bonus! 5.00Antoni was equally knowledgeable, energetic and agreeable. An informative and personalized tour of Jewish Warsaw that bridged the pre-war period, through the difficult WW2 period and into the post-war period through to the present. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend to others. In addition, the price was a bargain for the quality and duration of the tour.
