What To Expect
Clock Tower Market
The tower was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh, from whom the adjacent Sardar Market takes its name. An ancient clock tower stands tall, preserved in the middle of the city, believed to be the sole source for tracking time for locals in earlier times. The top of this tower gives an amazing panorama of the city
Mehrangarh Fort
Mehrangarh Fort stands a hundred feet in splendor on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. Burnished red sand stone, imposing, invincible and yet with a strange haunting beauty that beckons . Much has been written about the Citadel of the Sun, for truly, it is one of the most impressive in all Rajasthan. So colossal are its proportions that Rudyard Kipling called it “ the work of giants”. Today, it is acknowledged as one of the best preserved fort in India.

5.00Mr. Singh gave us an excellent 5 hour tour of jodhpur. He is a local guide with a great knowledge of the historical, cultural and religious significance of jodhpur. He was very insightful and took us a tour of the main point of jodhpur The highlight was undoubtedly the Fort and Blue city walk. Mr. Singh is also a very warm and friendly person and made us feel comfortable and very welcome in his home town. I would highly recommend mr. kuku singh.
