Head out on this a small group tour into Joshua Tree National Park conducted on an exciting air-conditioned H2 Hummer or touring Van. Gawk at the amazing contortions of rock that create an amazing landscape of vibrant colors against the bluest sky in California!
Your expert guide will illuminate your understanding about how this landscape was created and share the stories of the Indians and settlers who lived here.
See the most iconic and most photographed places in the park as well as stop at a viewpoint where you can see all the way to Mexico!
This tour will visit the most iconic locations in the park including it's legendary giant boulders, learn about the forces of the San Andreas Fault that jolt the landscape beneath Joshua Tree itself.

What To Expect
Joshua Tree National Park
We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. You will explore the park with a professional eco guide while you explore the ancient geological landscape that was once the home of the Serrano Indians. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.
Cap Rock Trail
Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.

This is a small group H2 Humme: This is a classic H2 Hummer that can accommodate up to five passengers. This leaves right from the California Welcome Center. Starting point: California Welcome Center-Yucca Valley, 56711 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, USA
Welcome Center Van 9:30 am
Duration: 3 hours: This leaves closer to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park at the Yucca Valley Welcome Center located at 56711 Hwy 62. 5.00Lovely, safe way to get a little history of the park and hit some highlight stops while not being overwhelmed with making the decisions or having to focus on driving and not the stunning scenery.
Two different deserts and lots of varied flora and fauna makes this a must go as compared to other desert parks.

5.00Disregard some of the data on the NPS website about crowds/updates and make sure u bring an analog map and lots of water. We went to the South Entrance eat 8:40 AM and had maybe ten people in the shop. Park Rangers and other employees fully staffed. Took 2 minutes to get a paper map and a ticket to enter the park. You can pick and choose which trails you will go on or drive up to some trailheads, read about the area, take some photos,and move on. Cottonwood Oasis was about a 2 mile hike to an overview slow climb up the rocks. Overall, 2 different deserts and lots of varied flora and fauna makes this a must go as compared to other desert parks. Get going!!

5.00Tom was an excellent guide and had a wealth of information which he shared throughout the tour. He made sure we had a lot of opportunities to stop and walk trails which he accompanied us on. We saw more and learned more than we would have ever been able to do on our own. It was so easy meeting up at the Palm Springs Art Museum and parking was not an issue. We whole heartedly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit this national park.

5.00We had Tom as our guide and he thought of everything! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, patient, funny, I could go on! He also had an awesome playlist drivinto into the park and leaving! However, the star of the tour was Joshua Tree! Its a magical place like nothing I've ever seen before! The weather was perfect and we were with a friendly group of people! Thanks for a great experience!
