Joshua Tree National Park
We provide you an informative and entertaining tour of Joshua Tree with one of our professional geology guides. You will explore the park with a professional eco guide while you explore the ancient geological landscape that was once the home of the Serrano Indians. We also take you to the most photographed places in the park and take a walk in an area where you can find Indian cave drawings and even an old dam left by cowboys long past.
Cap Rock Trail
Explore with your guide enormous rock formations exposed at the Earths surface that were produced by the very forces of the San Andreas Fault miles beneath. Here rocks seem to precariously balance upon one another in a fight between gravity and subterranean forces. A 30 minute optional guided walk is made here.

We have gone to Joshua Tree National Park twice over the past three years. The first time we hiked several trails, enjoyed the cactus garden. We also drove to the Lookout area for some great views of the valley. Also on our drive we saw Many Joshua trees as well as many cool rock formations like Split Rock. The trails are not too strenuous and scenic. This past time we went to the park, we continued hiking trails we missed last time, like Hidden Valley Trail. We also stayed until darkness. We saw a nice sunset and then did some star gazing. The park has no lights or buildings so the sky is clear for some great stargazing! I recommend sticking around for darkness

Typically I like to take a guided tour because I like to get the guide's expertise on an area. In this case, while the park is huge, it is easily drivable. I would definitely download an audio tour and follow it in my own car at my own pace. Your car is going to be way more comfortable, with better views, than sitting in a passenger van with 7 strangers and a guide that frankly played desert themed music for much of the tour. It'll also be way less expensive, for sure. Make sure to stop in at the gift shop and talk to a real park ranger about what you should not miss.

Great tour. During the ride up Tom provided a commentary on the area, the history of the park, and the Joshua Trees. Inside the park we stopped at three locations and had a short (about 20 minutes) gentle hike to see the scenery and get closer to the trees and other plants. Lots more history and sights were pointed out as we traveled through the park

What a great introduction to Joshua Tree National Park! Our guide, Tom, was a tremendous source of knowledge about all aspects of the park, from the geology of the park’s formation to the biology of the many plants and wildlife found there, to the music inspired by this high desert retreat. Tom skillfully guided our party through several different stops in the park and capped the morning off by driving us back to our Palm Springs departure point to quite possibly the best.roadtrip.playlist.ever!

We had a really good time. The van was comfortable and not overly packed in with people - plus our van mates were all lovely. Our tour operator Eddie was fun and knowledgeable. We made four stops and were able to walk around. If you’ve never been to Joshua Tree this is a terrific way to see the park. Highly recommend.

Instructions to find the pick up site were helpful. Parking was ample. The tour guide was really informative….learned a lot. Views were spectacular. Got to walk around some but not too much, especially with extreme heat. Highly recommend.

This tour was an excellent introduction to Joshua Tree National Park. Our tour guide Austin was very knowledgable and friendly. Stopping at very scenic places for photos and quick walks around, for someone like me who had never been to the park, it was a great experience (without the hassle of navigating the roads myself). We had excellent weather and views are amazing! Definitely worth the time and cost!

This is a great way to see Joshua Tree without having to rent a car or do the driving yourself! Tom was a friendly fun knowledgeable host who gave the local perspective and kept us engaged while also allowing us to experience JT for ourselves. Would highly recommend!
