5.00This audio tour was invaluable on our trip to Joshua Tree. Be sure to download in advance. It gives lots of fun information about the landscape, history, and more. It tells you when to pull off for stops to see different things or head out on hikes. The narrator even tells you how long the hikes will take and whether they are easy, moderate, or challenging. We used the main west entrance and it started at the visitor's center and progressed from there. It was a day well spent.

4.00I really liked the idea of the self-timed audio tour of Joshua Tree. We enjoyed the key topics presented and being able to spend 3-4 hours getting an overview of the park. We were able to note which areas we wanted to explore further on our next trip. The technology, however, was a bit bumpy at times, stalling when we lost a signal on the phone.
