David was an excellent tour guide! He took us to a hidden “ Gem”. He constantly pointed out nature to us. He was kind, considerate and Knowledgeable about the State Of Alaska! Highly recommended David as a Tour guide!

Unfortunately our tour guide Ray had just arrived in Juneau after living in Sitka and Florida and was not knowledgeable about the places we were taken or about the city. He was very friendly and tried his best but we were disappointed because it was not the experience we were expecting from a private tour. He was a safe driver but we definitely overpaid for the experience.

We had a fantastic tour with our local guide, Aleta! Our family was traveling with two little kids and this was the perfect tour to accommodate all our needs (even a McDonalds bathroom stop for the kids). Aleta met us in downtown Juneau with a well stocked van full of snacks, water, and even an activity book for the kids. Our trip started with an enjoyable and scenic ride through the town of Juneau. Then Aleta took us to the perfect viewing spot of the Mendenhall Glacier that avoided the crowds and allowed us to take the best family photos in front of the stunning scenery. Aleta did a wonderful job of finding the best wildlife spots and we were fortunate to see eagles and a mama bear with her 3 baby cubs! A major highlight that not many other tours listed was the National Shrine of St. Therese. Our family could have spent the whole day taking in the beautiful landscape. Overall a wonderful and extremely relaxed tour that we would highly recommend, especially for families.

We had an amazing day with Aleta ! We learned so much but had lots of laughs. The rain didn’t hamper our fun.

We booked a private tour in Juneau with friends and family, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our guide, David, was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond. He didn’t just take us to the popular spots — he also brought us to meaningful, lesser‑known locations that he personally felt were important to share. We saw an amazing amount of wildlife, including bears, whales, sea lions, eagles, and deer. The scenic drives were stunning, and many of the views felt completely private, like they were just for us. Overall, it was a fantastic day and I absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a personal and memorable Juneau experience.

Our guide, Alexa, was such a joy and extremely knowledgeable of Juneau. She shared history, wildlife, flora and fauna, keeping us entertained the whole time with her wit and wisdom all the while making sure we were comfortable and pampered. We EVEN saw bears bald eagles and sealions. The scenery in Juneau is amazing and Aleta knows the best spots for that perfect vacation photo. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge Aleta, such a joy.

Would highly recommend this service for anyone traveling to Juneau. Even though it was pouring rain the day we were in town, our driver made the best of it and made sure we had a great time. There were 4 of us in our group, and we all loved the tour and our driver. His stories and just chatting with us made the tour so much better!!

Our tour guide , Aleta. Was simply amazing! She was so knowledgeable in the history, culture , and nature. We saw whales, lots of eagles and other assorted wild life. She made our trip so entertaining through her story telling. She was like family and it was sad saying good-bye.

Dave did not show up and ghosted us. I booked 6 charter vehicles for day-long tours in May 2026 with Dave, manager of Juneau Private Tours, and he did not show up on the day. He left my work team in a lurch on the day and stopped returning calls & texts. We were literally waiting at the port with no word and no vehicles and all of us in a scramble to make other plans in order to stay on schedule.
