  We did not think that this tour was worth the money. Crowded and impersonal. You ride on a bus with no bathrooms. There is no time provided to get food, and even if you did, you’re not allowed to eat or drink on the bus. The only time allowed for food is at the top of the mountain with elevated prices. The mountain was tourist-filled. Over crowded and due to weather, there were no views. I realize the weather is out of anyone’s control. The train rides up the mountain are through tunnels so not scenic. You will spend a lot of time being herded like cats and then waiting for the next activity. We left tired, hungry, disappointed, and feeling like we wasted our money. A huge let down. Spend your time and money elsewhere.

• Viator is an absolutely horrible tour operator. Use them at the risk of losing your money.

  My flight from the US was cancelled early Sunday morning due to weather with less than 24 hours before the event. I was unable to get a flight into Zurich until Monday night. I immediately sent an email canceling when I found out my flight was canceled. I asked to transfer the ticket to Friday May 11 but my request was refused. I was offered the opportunity to purchase a new ticket at 10% off which was a slap in the face after already spending over $350. I own a company and take care of my customers completely if they have a problem with any of my products, especially if it is no fault of their own. The most important thing a business has is reputation. When you treat customers this way you may save yourself a bit of money but you destroy your reputation. Ask yourself if making a decision like this is worth your reputation. The policy is horrible. As a result, I will not utilize your services in any capacity again in the future. I cannot take the risk of losing all my money again with your horrible policy. I will also make sure to spread the news far and wide that you refuse to take care of your customers. Your reputation needs to be destroyed far and wide.

  Organized and all went well. The tour meet up time at 8am was early as it was a long day trip. Our guide Gonzalu was good and kept checking on the group. Would suggest to provide bottle water since it’s a long journey.

• Good trip but the Chamonix Trip to French Alps Much Better

  The weather was beautiful and the scenery spectacular. The downside to the trip was the bus inside height wasn’t much taller than 5’ 6”. We had to stop twice once going and once returning to Lucern to pick up guests and this was not listed on the itinerary. This was wasted time. When we stopped in Interlaken the town was virtually closed due to a holiday. When we stopped there we were given 30 minutes but it took at least 20 minutes round trip just to walk from where they parked the bus during this stop. The cable car ride was nice. The cog rail ride ascending was inside the mountain and a just a means to transport people to the top of the mountain. On the 2nd cog descending there were wonderful views As there were three pickups all the same instructions were repeated. This was a 12 hour day with at least 6 hours riding on the bus.
