Amazing Sights Made Possible By An Amazing Railway

5.00What a fantastic tour! Who knew there was a railway built inside a mountain in Switzerland? And that it was completed over a hundred years ago? We had an amazing day with our guide Jonas. He took care of all the train transfers getting to the top of the mountain and all the transfers getting back down and back to Bern using a different route. Such a relief to have someone knowledgeable make these time-sensitive reservations and be able to negotiate with the staff when things don’t go quite as planned. He also provided additional historical context from the perspective of a Swiss citizen about the trip, but also about life in Switzerland with his family. It was a very special day for my wife, son and myself.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Jungfrau with our tour guide Lina. Being above the clouds and experiencing the serene beauty of the snow capped Alps was magical. It was a surreal experience and the brand new Eiger Express tricable gondola made the trip even more memorable. Happily , we didn't suffer any altitude sickness although we were almost 12,000 feet above sea level.
