This was our first time visiting Kakadu and we had an amazing day. Be aware that it is a very long day, however it is broken up with numerous stops along the way, each with something different to see or experience. Rasa is a naturally friendly, keen and knowledgeable guide who kept us interested and entertained throughout the day. She was flexible with the timeline to allow us to see the sights at the best times. She was also a very willing photographer and we have some lovely photographic memories. Food was plentiful (all included) - breakfast, lunch, snacks (fruit, ships and lollies) and refreshing iced water that was greatly appreciated on a warm and humid day. The drive to Kakadu included a stop for breakfast (food simple but good, plus a croc enclosure and water buffalo to see) and a stop at Fogg Dam to view the bird life (very pretty). Ubirr Rock aboriginal art and lookout was a highlight - short walks and a climb, but not too strenuous (and no need to go all the way to the top level if you don't want to, although the views from the top were spectacular). The 2 hour river cruise combined croc spotting (unfortunately it was still a little early in the season for us to see any, but still worthwhile for the scenery) and especially being able to step foot onto Arnhem Land. We also enjoyed hearing our indigenous guide (Tyrone)'s stories of Arnhem land and his spear throwing demonstration. A quick stop at the Bewali visitors centre completed our time in Kakadu before making our way back to Darwin, complete with a beautiful sunset along the way. We really recommend this tour and so glad that we chose to go with Sacred Owl Tours. Thanks Rasa for a fantastic experience.

Rasa was on time and a knowledgeable guide for a long day of driving and fantastic sites. Her attention to detail and her delightful character made the trip extremely enjoyable. The rock art was and lookouts were major highlights. Anyone visiting this area should do this day trip as a must.

I traveled on the Sacred Owls Tour yesterday I live in NSW This was my first time tour to Kakadu Absolutely fantastic day Rasa is a awesome tour guide and as well as Tyrone cruise guide was so lovely and sharing cultural information during the 2 hr cruise. Everything was excellent all the cultural information was great. Ubirr cultural art paintings are just incredible as they date back 20,000 years or more The climb to the Ubirr lookout is worth the climb as there are 3 levels on the way up, it’s a gradual climb but the view was breathtaking of Kakadu landscape. 2 litres of water is a must as it was a hot day. Cahill crossing and river cruise not many crocs at this time of year. Only a couple of crocs was seen all good Lots of bird life on cruise and at fogg dam Thank you again Rasa was a awesome day And the lovely couple I travelled with on the tour Fantastic day Please be mindfulful NO glass or alcohol is permitted 👍😃❤️
