Momo and Yuji were fantastic! We wore headphones so if we fell behind we could still hear all the facts Momo taught us. She covered just the right amount of information about culture, history, and local practices. The historical places were beautiful and interesting. When my daughter got blisters from her new shoes, Yuji helped her by getting her bandaids and ensuring she didn’t get lost as the rest of group continued on. We highly recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Kanazawa with our guide, Aiko. From start to finish, the tour was interesting, informative, and very well organized. Aiko was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of the city. She made every stop come alive with fascinating stories and explanations, helping us understand and appreciate Kanazawa far beyond what we could have discovered on our own. The visit to the samurai district was particularly memorable, and we loved learning about the lives and traditions of the samurai families who once lived there. The beautiful gardens were breathtaking, and Aiko pointed out many details and hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed. The highlights of the tour were undoubtedly Kanazawa Castle and the magnificent Kenroku-en. Thanks to Aiko’s explanations, we gained a much deeper appreciation of their history, architecture, and cultural significance. Aiko was not only an excellent guide but also very kind, friendly, and attentive, making the experience enjoyable and engaging throughout the day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kanazawa. Thank you, Aiko, for making our visit so special and unforgettable!

Aiko was great, she convinced us to do a second tour after our first in the morning. She was very through and helpful, especially for someone who knows no Japanese at all.
