Jorge was excellent. He showed us sights we would not have found on our own because we had a narrow window of time in Kanazawa. He also provided a list of stops to see on our own if time allowed.

Very knowledgeable guide who tailored the tour for us. We have had other opportunities to see geisha and samurai districts but she added a significant amount to our understanding.

Selda was such a great guide. Although it was raining she was so well prepared taking us through the streets and providing so much knowledge in the short time we had in Kanazawa.

Absolutely amazing tour with Karolina! She was so knowledgeable and took us around at a very good pace all afternoon without feeling too rushed. She clearly loves the city and knows a lot of history which we were so fascinated by! She gave us some local recommendations and just was so lovely to spend the afternoon with!

Our tour guide Akari was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I have never experienced a more communicative and adaptable tour guide. She was fun, had many interesting facts to share about Kanazawa and the history, and pointed out her favorite aspects of the city and culture along the tour. This was our favorite tour in Japan so far and we can’t recommend it enough!

We had a fabulous time with Akari today. She was very informative about traditional and modern culture, humorous and kind. Akari was very flexible and instantly tailored our itinerary to our requests. We took a quick bus trip to the geisha district, where we visited a traditional geisha house, tasted delicious gold leaf ice cream & were fortunate to see an actual geisha ‘mother’. Following this we had a lovely walk to the samurai district where we saw an original samurai house and many traditional artisan craft shops. Akari was also very thoughtful to take time out for a local Hanton Rice lunch. She went above and beyond our expectations today. Highly recommend this tour with Akari, a personal way to learn about Japanese culture. Thankyou Akari for a memorable day.

We loved hearing the unique history and cultural aspects of Kanasawa from our amazing tour guide, Natsuko, and getting to know her! Despite the pouring rain, we had an amazing 4 hour tour. She also took fabulous photos during our time together and pointed out the best lunch spots at Omicho Market. Highly recommend.
