Very well organised including the bus transfers to and from the ferry. Our guide on the island was very knowledgeable with loads of interesting information, great way to experience the wildlife and natural sights of the island in one day.

Really enjoyed the tour. The coastal and rock formations were far better than I anticipated. The tour was very organized.

Be prepared for a long day with lots of travel but well worth it. A decent amount of walking & stairs.

Excellent way to see highlights of Kangaroo Island in a day. Saw everything we wanted to see although didn’t have a full hour at the animal sanctuary so that part of the trip was rushed. Suggest visiting the animal sanctuary first. For a lot of us on the trip seeing the animals was a key experience especially for those coming from abroad.

The day tour of Kangaroo Island is a great way to see this stunning and special corner of South Australia if you are short on time. The day tour is intense as it leaves very early in the morning from the Adelaide CBD to make an early morning ferry to the Island from Jervis Bay (ferry tickets included in the tour price). Once on the island the tour takes you to Seal Bay where you can experience a reasonably close up experience with an Australian fur seal colony. The tour also includes the spectacular Remarkable Rocks, the wonderful landscapes of Admirals Arch as well as a stop over at a Native Wildlife Sanctuary. Our tour guide - while a bit gruff - was very knowledgeable about both the First Nations and post contact history of the island as well as about the flora and fauna…A two course lunch is included however it’s advisable to pack some light food and drinks for the early morning drive down to and late night drive back from Jervis Bay as breakfast and dinner are not included. You can get light refreshments on the ferry and our tour did stop at the Penneshaw IGA where you can pick up a few edibles for dinner. All in all this tour was good value for money.
