Penneshaw
This morning enjoy your scenic coach transfer to Cape Jervis to meet the ferry for your 45 minute trip to Kangaroo Island. On arrival into Penneshaw, meet your coach and driver to begin your tour.
Seal Bay Conservation Park
At Seal Bay, you will be taken down onto the beach by a Parks Interpretive Officer to see the Australian sea lions close-up - swimming in the surf or basking in the sand.

5.00Despite the rain - first in the last 6 months the experience was fantastic. Dani the tour guide on the island was very knowledgeable and friendly. Feeding the KI Kangaroos.was definitely a highlight! Definitely recommend despite the rain

5.00The day tour of Kangaroo Island is a great way to see this stunning and special corner of South Australia if you are short on time. The day tour is intense as it leaves very early in the morning from the Adelaide CBD to make an early morning ferry to the Island from Jervis Bay (ferry tickets included in the tour price). Once on the island the tour takes you to Seal Bay where you can experience a reasonably close up experience with an Australian fur seal colony. The tour also includes the spectacular Remarkable Rocks, the wonderful landscapes of Admirals Arch as well as a stop over at a Native Wildlife Sanctuary. Our tour guide - while a bit gruff - was very knowledgeable about both the First Nations and post contact history of the island as well as about the flora and fauna…A two course lunch is included however it’s advisable to pack some light food and drinks for the early morning drive down to and late night drive back from Jervis Bay as breakfast and dinner are not included. You can get light refreshments on the ferry and our tour did stop at the Penneshaw IGA where you can pick up a few edibles for dinner. All in all this tour was good value for money.

5.00Other than the long bus ride to and from the ferry, it was a fabulous tour. Great stops with the highlight for us being the sanctuary where we cuddled with a koala, took photos up close with them and fed the kangaroos. Our tour guide, Hamish was fantastic, he knew so much about the Island and the animals. Great day!

4.00This was a long day of travel to experience kangaroo island setting off from Adelaide City. Be prepared for hours spent in a bus! That being said, the drivers/guides to get to the ferry (Rick) and tour the island (Will) were excellent with their stories and information keeping us entertained so that the hours passed quickly. A map was provided so we could follow the route, lunch was tasty and we had a great day exploring the geology and getting close and personal with the seals, koalas and kangaroos

5.00Very very long day but jampacked with amazing sights & wildlife on KI (Kangaroo Island). A lovely island with spectacular scenery on the southern coast at Remarkable Rocks & Admiral Arch. Saw echidnas, kangaroos, Australian sea lions, black fur seals & eagles in the wild. Well worth the 16 hour day. Our guide was wonderful & very knowledgeable

5.00An excellent day out. It's a long day, but you get to see and do so many things. It was well organized and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The lunch was also lovely. The highlight for me was feeding the kangaroos and cuddling a koala (holding a koala was an additional cost)

4.00It was a long but fun day. We actually saw more wild kangaroos on our journey to Kangaroo Island than on Kangaroo Island. The Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch were unusual and beautiful formations. We saw many sea lions at close range at Seal Bay which was an incredible sight. Lunch was very good. The only complaint was that we only had 30 minutes at the wildlife sanctuary which definitely wasn’t enough time. We were able to hold a koala for $45 AUD and give other koalas a pat(even a baby) which was an amazing experience.
