Visit wild kangaroos and search for koalas in their natural habitat. Walk behind the base of multiple waterfalls, (free swimming at the base can be possible) and explore others from lookouts throughout Springbrook National Park Visit 2 UNESCO heritage locations including Natural Bridge.

A homecooked meal is provided at the top of one of the many beautiful waterfalls that we will visit.

This experience is great for anyone that wants to witness the beauty of nature with an adventure surrounded by waterfalls and ancient flora of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. Explore subtropical, warm & cool temperate rainforest types and a experience a diversity of natural vegetation.

The area with kangaroos & koalas is not a zoo, but a conserved piece of land for the animals to live happily in their natural environment.

This was one of the most memorable and fun trips I’ve ever been on. It was so awesome to get to see waterfalls, rainforest and kangaroos all in one day! I learned some new things and saw some beautiful lookouts and waterfalls. This is a must do trip when you are on the Gold Coast!
So interesting, we didn’t want it to end!

A full, active day seeing key natural sights in Queensland with an experienced naturalist guide. Peter led us through each stop on the thoughtfully curated itinerary with memorable and informative discussion about what to look for and history/context. We loved the hiking (covered five + miles on foot) and seeing plants, birds and animals unique to Australia. This day was such a highlight on our trip. Also, Peter engaged our group in a way that made us feel like a team! We highly recommend this experience!!

Rainforest and Kangaroo Experience This tour was absolutely fantastic! With only seven guests, it felt very personal and individual. With the small group you have an access to some parts, where the large groups are not allowed to go to. Our private guide was incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and took plenty of time to explain everything about the rainforest, the animals, and the plants living there. We got to see so much — from stunning rainforest scenery to unique wildlife — all while enjoying beautiful and easy hikes. Lunch was delicious and homemade, with fresh fruits and a tasty nut bar. It really added a special touch to the day. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore a different side of the rainforest and truly learn about its fascinating ecosystem

This was a really authentic and truly unforgettable experience starting with a tour of the Gondwana rainforest with its many waterfalls and walkways . We also saw Numinbah Falls which was also beautiful. Peter was the most fantastic guide and gave us so much information on the wildlife , landscapes and foliage every step of the way . He picked us up from our hotel and was so friendly and we loved his playlist ! The walks were not too strenuous but waterproof walking shoes would be recommended. The views were spectacular with plenty of time to take photos . Peter provided us with a lovely lunch of salad , fruit and snacks as well as water which was much appreciated. We went from the rainforest to the Coombahbah Lakelands where there were an abundance of kangaroos, baby Joeys and Peter found us koalas , too . This really was the highlight of our trip to the Gold Coast and we thought it was great value for money . Thank you so much , Peter , for sharing your knowledge and giving us so many amazing memories.

Peter told us a lot of interesting facts about local wildlife and plants. He even notified us when some interesting birds were seen on highway while we were driving! It was also fun to talk to other people in the group who came from all over the world.

Peter was a great tour guide. Although the weather didn't cooperate with the timing of the tour, Peter adjusted the timing of places along this excursion to gain the most advantage with the continuously changing weather conditions. Peter was very knowledgeable and made this an excellent part of my visit to the Gold Coast. An item of note: our group wanted to see a koala. Peter took our group to an area where they were normally easy to find but had no luck. He took us to an area and found one high in one of the trees. He came back to the van, in which we were waiting, and took us to the tree where the Koala was staying. I was able to take some excellent pictures.

First, Peter is an amazing guy, he’s makes wants the day trip so enjoyable, informative and fun. He’s so knowledgeable and I liked how he was well organized but at the same time at a relaxed pace to let everyone enjoy these beautiful waterfalls, hikes and taking pics. Really enjoyable tour to see nature, animals and some wildlife. Thanks Peter :)

Thoroughly enjoyed our day. We only had a total of 4 in our group along with Peter our guide. The tour certainly met our expectations and the hike to the waterfalls and lookout points was great. Peter was very knowledgeable about the area and the local fauna and flora. We really enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary. Unlike a zoo, the animals were roaming free in within the area and we were able to see lots of kangaroos, wallabies, and pademelons. Peter was able to find several koalas in the treetops which we would never have been able to spot on our own. I would highly recommend this tour if you like to hike and enjoy an active day.
