This tour was amazing from pick up to drop off our guide Celia was super friendly and knowledgable, we had a wonderful light breakfast before heading to Kata Tjuṯa, the walk through the Waḻpa Gorge was an easy and breathtaking walk and the beautiful sunrise made this tour an incredible experience

  • Well-run tour, disappointing response to infant safety concerns

We attended the sunset tour in April and the guide was excellent—knowledgeable, professional, and very good with our group. However, I would not recommend this experience for families with very young infants. Prior to booking, I specifically asked whether it would be manageable with a 3-month-old baby and was reassured that it would be straightforward with shade available. In reality, the conditions were much more intense than expected, particularly the heat, exposure, and flies. After attending the sunset tour, I did not feel it was safe to bring my infant on the sunrise tour and contacted the company before departure, but did not receive a response before the early morning tour time. I understand that flies and weather are beyond the company’s control, but I do think families with infants should be given more realistic expectations in advance.

  • A good option after doing the Uluru tour

This tour started off with a stop at a lookout to see the sunrise, which was wonderful. We then stopped for a very nice breakfast at a day camp site, and our guide did all the setup and even toasted bread and scones on a portable stove. The actual walk at Kata Tjuṯa was good, but much shorter that we expected (about 3 KM) and only took a bit over an hour. It was a nice morning but we were back at the hotel by 11am. We completed the Sunrise at Uluru before doing this tour so feedback is a bit of a comparison between the two.

  • Lovely morning to the Olgars

Early start at hotel where we stayed to go to a great viewing spot to see the sunrise over the Red Desert including the Olgars and Uluru. Amazing views and having a good clear morning I think helped. Then we sat down to a lovely outback breakfast provided by the tour team at the base of the Olgars (the sister/brother to Uluru). It included cereals, fruit, juice, toast and tea/coffee, great. We then took a interesting walk into the into the Walpa Gorge part of the Olgars range. It is slightly uphill and the ground was uneven but with care it was a fairly straightforward walk. The tour guide was always on hand to make sure everyone was coping. Amazing views and great information provided. Another great morning tour.

Wonderful experience. The colours and the scenery just spectacular. Our guide, Mimi was knowledgeable and very engaging. She even became personal photographer to the group, ensuring we captured beautiful images. Breakfast was lovely and well- earned after the sunrise viewing and short hike into Walpa Gorge. Highly recommend. The small group made it even more specials. Rug up though - it was 4 degrees!
