This tour started off with a stop at a lookout to see the sunrise, which was wonderful. We then stopped for a very nice breakfast at a day camp site, and our guide did all the setup and even toasted bread and scones on a portable stove. The actual walk at Kata Tjuṯa was good, but much shorter that we expected (about 3 KM) and only took a bit over an hour. It was a nice morning but we were back at the hotel by 11am. We completed the Sunrise at Uluru before doing this tour so feedback is a bit of a comparison between the two.

Enjoyed being part of a small group, very friendly and informative guide. Enjoyed the walk through the Walpa Gauge which we didn't know was part of the experience.

Early start at hotel where we stayed to go to a great viewing spot to see the sunrise over the Red Desert including the Olgars and Uluru. Amazing views and having a good clear morning I think helped. Then we sat down to a lovely outback breakfast provided by the tour team at the base of the Olgars (the sister/brother to Uluru). It included cereals, fruit, juice, toast and tea/coffee, great. We then took a interesting walk into the into the Walpa Gorge part of the Olgars range. It is slightly uphill and the ground was uneven but with care it was a fairly straightforward walk. The tour guide was always on hand to make sure everyone was coping. Amazing views and great information provided. Another great morning tour.

Wonderful experience. The colours and the scenery just spectacular. Our guide, Mimi was knowledgeable and very engaging. She even became personal photographer to the group, ensuring we captured beautiful images. Breakfast was lovely and well- earned after the sunrise viewing and short hike into Walpa Gorge. Highly recommend. The small group made it even more specials. Rug up though - it was 4 degrees!

Ideally timed tour with an early 6am pickup Includes the drive into the park, sunrise viewing, light but adequate breakfast & the drive & walk into Waḻpa Gorge. It is slightly uphill, very windy, on our day & rocky & uneven underfoot. But we never felt rushed at all & could take the time we needed. Our guide Michael was friendly, patient & has worked hard on his presentation. We could have in fact listened to his lovely french accent all day. Being back by 11 meant we missed being annoyed by the pesky flies And being in such a small group (8 of us on our particular tour) meant everyone was well looked after

Ah early start, but so worth it. Experiencing Uluru and Kata Tjuta at sunrise was breathtaking and our guide was fantastic - even at that hour of the morning!

A great way to see these awesome areas! An early start to see the sunrise but absolutely worth it. Don’t forget your sunscreen and fly nets!
