What To Expect
Thamel
We will start our tour from the Chhaya Devi Complex Thamel(Tour Hub of Nepal). After meeting at the meeting point we moved to the oldest local market side of Kathmandu which is called Ason Bazar where we can find many unique shops and local lifestyle, culture, tradition, temples, Stupas, and local lifestyle. On the way to the Local Market, we can find many unique local food stalls where we taste a few of local foods and drinks(Minimum of 5 Items).

Thanks to this tour, we got to learn about local dishes, different types of staples, and the unique cultures of the people here. It really helped us understand Nepal better. We had no idea Nepali food was so rich and delicious! Since we’re just here for a short trip and not very familiar with the local lifestyle, having the guide show us around made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. We were absolutely stuffed after 2 hours and had enough delicious and varied food to feed about 3 people. Incredible value. Delicious backstreet places you’d struggle to find on your own. Come hungry. Highly highly recommended

5.00Santosh is a legend. Honestly a fantastic food tour that I’d recommend to anyone. He’s a knowledgable and genuine local with a passion for quality tourism. We talked about everything from local history, politics and culture and of course had a fantastic introduction to the food scene. We ate and drank quality specialities with an interesting walk between each. There was just the two of us with Santosh and that made it even more memorable. Thank you!

The food choices were great and I feel like we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Santhos and Mount Glory.
