Experience the white-knuckle rush of a 30 minute jet boat tour on Lake Rotorua. Feel the rush and power as our V8 engine boats push you through the water, reaching speeds up to 85km/hr.
Visit iconic landmarks including Kawaha Point, the Sacred Mokoia Island and Sulphur Bay, while discovering the history of the area. This is a very unique experience that won't disappoint. Suitable for all ages . Come and have fun with all the family or friends.Groups are welcome . We can carry 50 people at once with our 3 boats . We supply spray jackets if required and life jackets are mandatory. So come and give us a go. This is not to be missed when you visit Rotorua.

3.00Technically and oprationally adequate, good H&S briefing on board. But OMG! Your staff need training from Te Arawa. Your retelling of history is appalling. And pronunciation of Māori is offensive. For a tourism operation do better for the visitors, but do better for the people of Te Arawa.

5.00It turned out to be a cold and windy day on which we booked to go on the Katoa Jet boat, and Lake Rotorua had a few bumps; this added to the fun. We felt safe in the hands of our driver as she carefully guided us out to Mokoia Island and back. Her commentary was interesting and she answered our questions willingly. The 360's were a highlight though we were thankful for the provided splash jackets. We highly recommend this trip.

5.00I took a group of youth and young adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities to the Katoa Jet Boat tour. Katoa Jet Boats were very accommodating to my group and were open to adjusting the tour to suit our needs if required and were great with our young people. The tour was amazing, lots of cool facts and the 360 spins are great fun. Would highly recommend :).
Booking through Tripadvisor is too expansive.

5.00It's too expansive to book through Tripadvisor as we need to pay NZD 480 insted of NZD 408 whihc is actual price. The Katoa boat ride is enjoyble aby agin dont book through Tripadvisor.
