Linda was a wonderful guide for the Katatura Township Experience. I appreciated her flexibility in adjusting the itinerary based on the clients' interests.

It was a very interesting trip with Linda to the township area. She showed us a lot, they understood her very well and it was really nice in general. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience the real life of the local people.

Picked promptly on time by Linda who then proceeded to ask if I had any particular points of interest to see. She then gave me a highly educated historical tour of Windhoek, important monuments etc. We then continued onto Katutura chatting constantly in the car. We stopped to give some clothes I no longer needed to those who needed some. The sheer enormity of the settlement is astonishing, the people living here are only just surviving. Totally corrupt governments have done nothing to help. After this we ate a meal at Single Quarters which was highly enjoyable. Linda was a kind professional lady throughout. I’d highly recommend the tour.

Linda was such a wonderful guide and she showed us around the real day to day life in Windhoek’s township of Katutura. Make sure you try Kapana, the meat was on point!

Our guide Linda was absolutely amazing, and we recommend her and the entire tour 100%! She shared so much knowledge with us (about the past and the present) and took us to all the most interesting and significant historical sites. We ended the tour at the vibrant market in Katukura for lunch, which was a unique experience itself. As vegetarians, we especially enjoyed trying the delicious salsa served with fresh bread—definitely a must-try! Linda’s friendly, attentive and professional guidance made the day both educational and enjoyable from start to finish. Thanks a lot, it was a pleasure meeting you!

Hello everyone! We enjoyed an interesting experience with our guide Jackson inside the township of Windhoek and Katatura! We visited the city centre and had a look of CBD department. We moved to Katatura where we visited the local market and had a taste of the tipical meal (beef, salsa and porridge). Then Jackson drove us through the silver city allowing us to experience the place and the people. Don't miss the opportunity while you pass in Windhoek!

We had the pleasure of exploring Katutura with Linda as our guide – and it was simply outstanding! From the very beginning, Linda made us feel welcome and comfortable. She shared not only her deep knowledge about the history and life in Katutura, but also many personal insights that gave us a real and authentic perspective. The tour was perfectly balanced: informative, moving, sometimes thought-provoking, and at the same time full of warmth and humor. Linda’s way of explaining, connecting with people, and showing us around made this one of the highlights of our Namibia journey. We especially appreciated the opportunity to taste local food, meet people from the community, and see everyday life beyond the usual tourist paths. It felt genuine and respectful. We can wholeheartedly recommend Anchor Adventures and especially Linda – she truly works her “magic”! ✨ A must-do experience when in Windhoek!

A highlight of our time in Namibia! Lots of tourists might rush past Windhoek on their way to other places, but spending even a few hours for this tour will give you so much insight and was a great start to our trip. We met our guide, Nahas at Christuskirche and he showed us some other parts of Windhoek before taking us to Katutura. He put us at ease straight away and showed us many sides of Windhoek we would never have seen on our own. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about passing on what he knows. He also answered all of our questions really well and most of all we had a lot of fun and loved his sense of humour. Thank you for a great evening Nahas!! We'd recommend this tour to anyone 😊
