Can be a very muddy hike but we were blessed with sunshine and dry pathways. Our guide Mikayla was the best! It made for a perfect day!

Mikayla was a great guide she keeps us entertained with a lot of knowledge of the area and mountains. Always checking on us if we are ok and need anything. Was very punctual!

The kayaking down the Wailua river and the hike to Secret Falls were amazing! Our guide Brian provided assistance to participants as needed and was very informative and entertaining. His assistance, along with my hiking poles and previous hiking experience in the west made this experience very doable for me, even at 73.

Highly recommend booking this tour! Our guide Zach was not only personable and energetic but brought a wealth of information about Kauai and the forest we hiked thru to get to the waterfall. The scenery was beautiful as we kayaked to the trail head and beyond. The waterfall itself was absolutely stunning. We got to enjoy a nice swim, photos and snacks we brought before heading back to our kayaks. I even got to feed a worm to a bird that he always sees on the hike!

Zack was great. The equipment was good but the island has so much beauty that the area we hiked was disappointing.

Mostly moderate with some “more than moderate” spots on the hike, a great paddle up and back, and totally worthwhile experience. Our tour guide McKayla, had a wealth of knowledge about local plants, eateries, and history, and was really fun!

The hike involves climbing through large rocks, giant tree roots, fording at least three streams with currents, to see a beautiful high waterfall. This was advertised as 4-5 hrs, but allow 5-6. We had a perfect day and just made 5 hrs with a very short dip in the waterfall pool. We were in a small 7 am group and moved fast before other kayakers arrived too. Btw the morning groups are less hampered by water traffic. Saw wildlife and interesting trees too.
