We fly a FULL 60-65 minute tour. You don’t want to settle for any less than 60 minutes, as this allows our pilots to take their time at each viewpoint and rotate the helicopter so all passengers have a great view regardless of seating arrangements.
We fly a MD500E aircraft, one of the safest and best helicopter makes in the world. Please know we fly a full tour with all seats sold. Maximum of 4 passengers per helicopter. Weight restrictions apply.

What To Expect
Lihue
After checking in at our office and verifying weights you will be given a thorough safety briefing. You will then be transported to our hangar where you will board the aircraft and meet your pilot.
After taking off, your first scenic landmarks will be the Nawiliwili Harbor and historic Menehune Fishpond. This is a great time to test out the two way communication and chat with your pilot and introduce yourself.

5.00This was an EXCELLENT tour, our guide Nick was awesome. We have had other helicopter tours and this one blew the others out of the water. Nick was very knowledgeable and a smooth pilot. We felt that we saw the best of Kauai with him. This is not just another helicopter tour this is a tour that you need to experience.

2.00My husband and I booked a doors-off helicopter tour to get an unobstructed view of the beautiful Kauai landscape. It was my first time riding in a helicopter, and I wish I had booked a doors-on tour for a better view. I was stuck in a middle seat and, since I'm only 5'2, most of my front window view was obstructed by the cockpit and the side views were obstructucted by people. It would have been a better experience riding in a doors-on helicopter where all the seats are window seats, even if that meant potentially having glare in the pictures. I wasn't able to capture any pictures without obstructions covering more than half the frame. I understand that the middle seat is a possibility because weight needs to be balanced properly in the helicopter for safe operations. However, I did not get the full value nor did I get the experience I paid for. It would be more reasonable for Jack Harter to offer a discount to the person who gets stuck in the middle seat since it's a very diminished experience. I am disappointed that this was my first experience riding in a helicopter, and even more disappointed that I paid the same price as others for a lackluster experience. If you're within the height and weight requirements of the middle seat, be aware that there is a very high possibility that you will be seated there even if you request a different seat in advance. The helicopter pilot was great and the 2-star review is no reflection of that aspect of the tour. It's purely based on the poor value of my obstructued view, compared to others in the helicopter who had the full doors-off experience with unobstructed views.
