Experience the thrill of a lifetime with our doors-off helicopter tour over breathtaking Kauai. On this exhilarating adventure, you will feel the wind in your hair and get unobstructed views from our specially designed helicopter with the doors removed and pilot controls on the left hand side.
Our knowledgeable and skilled pilots guide you through the island’s iconic landmarks, sharing insightful commentary along the way.
Safety is our top priority, and our doors-off helicopter tours adhere to the highest industry standards.
We fly a FULL 60-65 minute tour. You don’t want to settle for any less than 60 minutes, as this allows our pilots to take their time at each viewpoint and rotate the helicopter so all passengers have a great view regardless of seating arrangements.
We fly a MD500E aircraft, one of the safest and best helicopter makes in the world. Please know we fly a full tour with all seats sold. Maximum of 4 passengers per helicopter. Weight restrictions apply.

What To Expect
Lihue
After checking in at our office and verifying weights you will be given a thorough safety briefing. You will then be transported to our hangar where you will board the aircraft and meet your pilot.
After taking off, your first scenic landmarks will be the Nawiliwili Harbor and historic Menehune Fishpond. This is a great time to test out the two way communication and chat with your pilot and introduce yourself.

5.00This was one of the most magnificent experiences I have ever had my whole life. This is the way to experience the beauty of Hawaii. The staff was super friendly and attentive. My cruise had an itinerary change and they were able to accommodate me in a different time slot (I was extremely lucky). They made it all easy and communicated with me to help me out. Pro tip: do not book this as the last thing in your travels, book it first to allow accommodations should cancellations take place because of weather. YOU CANNOT MISS THISTL TOUR! 🌺🌈

5.00Our flight was rebooked several times due to weight, weather, too few occupants for the flight .... the lady we corresponded with was more like nice on the phone and also at the reception. The staff and also the briefings on the helicopter, perfect. You felt very safe that at any time. About the flight itself, you don't have the words. The pilot has a very pleasant voice and extremely much to tell. He pointed out the highlights and gave tips for photography and filming. We don't want to miss this experience and was one of the highlights on our Hawaii tour. Full score still too little here. Admittedly, to do this naturally with nature and the given highlights on Kawaii. Nevertheless, we felt more like comfortable when booking. Thanks to the Jack Harper team.

5.00This door-off helicopter tour with Jack Harter Helicopter was hands down one of the best experiences of my life! If you are visiting Kauai, this is absolutely worth every penny. From start to finish, the entire operation was seamless. The coordination was perfect—they arranged a pickup right from the pier and transported us to Lihue, making the whole process stress-free. The communication and contact information provided were clear, ensuring we knew exactly what to expect. The 60-minute flight itself was breathtaking. Exploring the entire island from the air provided a perspective you just can't get from the ground. Flying over the Na Pali Coast with the doors off was exhilarating, and the views of Waimea Canyon were absolutely stunning. Our pilot, Arthur, was extraordinary, providing a detailed and engaging description of the island’s history and geography throughout the tour. It wasn't just a ride; it was an educational and awe-inspiring journey. If you want a world-class adventure that is professionally handled and visually spectacular, I cannot recommend this experience enough!

5.00This was our first helicopter ride, and what an AMAZING place to experience one! We couldn’t have been more excited for the adventure, nor more pleased with our tour! I’m not gonna lie, I was terrified for the first 10 minutes or so, but I settled in. Our pilot was awesome, and his voice and stories were very calming. For anyone that runs cold like me, wear more clothes! It was 72 degrees on the ground. I had on leggings and a sweater and I was freezing!
