Spouting Horn
Our adventure begins with a visit to the beautiful Spouting Horn, an extinct lava tube that became a water geyser. Marvel at the power of nature as the waves crash on the shore and water rushes through the tube like a geyser. Your guide will share the legend of the site, sound effects and all. As we head back to our starting point we will cruise through the famous Tree Tunnel planted in 1912.
Hanapepe Valley Lookout
Our first stop is at the verdant Hanapepe valley, a great preamble to the Canyon. Partially owned by descendants of a missionary family, this valley is steeped in history, and natural beauty. Although we cant't see it from the road, Jurassic falls is nestled deep within this valley.

This was a great tour, about 7 hours of sightseeing at a reasonable price. The guide's narration was not spectacular but very informative. The scenery was terrific and the ride was smooth with enough stops to make it comfortable. One caveat, although Viator sent a confirmation and a QR code for the tour, the tour operator indicated that it might not happen if not enough people signed up.

We booked this tour for our first day on the island and I would highly recommend you do the same. It's great way to get a general layout of where everything is and to plan for places you want to go back to while on your trip. Coco Maria was fantastic and gave us so many tips and ideas for how to spend the remainder of our trip. Her extensive knowledge living on the island for so long was truly helpful to us. Her love and knowledge of the island's history also enriched our time there and inspired us to plan another Polynesian adventure. This is time and money well spent to enhance the rest of your trip! We will be looking forward to seeing her again on our next visit to Kauai'i!

WOW! What an amazing experience we had! Me, my 4-year-old daughter, sister, brother-in-law and 5-year-old nephew were in Kauai for only one day and we thank God that our initial plan to take a boat trip got cancelled as Kauai Soul Travel was really a God send. Even from the first conversation with Coco when we booked the trip I had a very pleasant feeling that I was talking to someone that deeply cared about maximizing the things we see on our trip even for only the few hours we were there. Coco arranged everything from pickup to drop-off based on our flight information and made the entire process seamless. Our guide Shasta was fantastic! She showed outstanding communication skills and knowledge of the attractions, always providing context and backstories that made the entire trip beautiful. My family has taken many tours all over the world but Shasta was by far the best guide we ever had. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable and not have to worry about anything since the pickup until drop-off. She took us for some amazingly delicious pastry right after pickup, then later to lunch where she even offered to wait for our food and bring the car from the parking while we were enjoying the surroundings. Shasta was amazing with the little ones too, always watching them and making sure they are safe and that they are having the best time of their lives. The views were spectacular as we saw canyons, waterfalls, old cities, beaches and many more and Shasta knew exactly where to take us, many times in other places from where most tourists went so we truly felt like we were getting a private tour. The price of the trip was also very good and more than reasonable so we are happy on that aspect too. But just the time we spent on the island was really unforgettable, the connection we made with Shasta and her home will be forever in our hearts. She is truly passionate about showing visitors her home and like I mentioned before she seems to know a lot about every little thing on the island. I write this review very emotional because honestly the feeling we had is that we didn't just take a tour but a close friend showed us around and helped us have a wonderful time while we were there. Thank you Coco and Shasta for your amazing selves and I hope and pray your business continues to thrive and excel as it does today and has done so far. You really made us feel special! God bless you!

Kauai Soul Travel is the best! Coco’s company knows how to show off her island. The small group tour was the best way to go and the trip was flexible and easy to negotiate the highlighted stops.

One of the best tours ever, beautiful perfect day. Shasta was the best guide, sweet, fun, gave us cool history, made us laugh and took amazing care of us! The van was super comfortable and spotless (the best of any tour I’ve been on). Shasta took extra time to make sure we had a perfect trip and went above and beyond!!! Each stop was breathtaking, fun and magical. Will book again for sure! Dream trip! Thanks Shasta and Coco! Mahalo! 🥰🌺🤙🏽

Highly recommended! Coco was absolutely fantastic - the best tour guide we have encountered in recent memory. Her knowledge and clear interest in all things Kauai is both infectious and extensive. We weren’t driving, so this tour was perfect for seeing the west of the island comfortably. The stops at Hanapepe, Spouting Horn and the coffee company were all good, but the highlight was of course Waimea canyon. Coco was also very communicative close to the trip and helped us when there was sudden torrential rain the morning of the trip - luckily the weather cleared up. She also loved our resourcefulness in borrowing a beach umbrella from the hotel (which worked brilliantly despite the strange looks) as we came otherwise unprepared for rain - a rookie mistake for Kauai!

Shasta was a terrific guide. She was well versed about everything we saw and about Hawaiian history, flora, language, etc. She has a wonderful bubbly personality that made everything interesting and fun. We spent some time browsing in Hanapepe, a charming little town. The Spouting Horn was pretty amazing to hear and see. Waimea Canyon was beautiful and we took many photos. We lunched at Chicken in a Barrel at the Plantation House and the meal was quite tasty and the portion quite generous. This is a tour we would recommend as an enjoyable and educating day trip in Kauai.
