This activity is suitable even for beginners as our English-speaking guide will kindly explain how to paddle.
*This is NOT rental, we will guide you and take you to the most beautiful places on the lake
The tour flow is as follows:
1) Before start time - Come to reception (fill in the agreement form)
2)Approx. 15 minutes - Guide will explain how to paddle and the potential dangers for Kayaking Activity
3)Approx. 15 mins -Practice paddling
4)1.5 hour - Kayaking tour
Total 2 hour tour includes equipment, bottled water per person, and picture-taking by our guide.
*We start kayaking on time, so please come earlier for preparation.

Enjoy the peaceful beauty of Mt Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko during this kayaking tour. The lake and surroundings are ever changing with the seasons, as is the mystical and moody Mt. Fuji. Some days, you might see a sea of clouds, soft mist on the water, or birds like swans and cormorants. Our friendly English speaking guide will share stories about Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. We enjoy helping travelers make the most of their time in Japan. Great for First Timers No experience needed. We will guide you step by step and take photos to help you remember this part of your trip. Easy to Reach Our shop is near many hotels and just a 15 minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. How to Get to Kawaguchiko from Tokyo Take a train from Shinjuku to Otsuki, then transfer to the Fujikyu Line or Take a direct limited express train from Shinjuku or Take an express bus from Shinjuku Need help with directions? 5.00Our guide was Guillaume, a French tour guide with unbelievable English and 10 years of experience in Japan. Our Kayaking trip was my sister, myself and Guillaume and it was perfect, we done light kayaking filled with lots of great chats as we floated around the middle of the lake allowing the slow waves of boats passing to move us around, followed by a leisurely paddle back to shore, heavily recommend this for abled people with a family or partner!

5.00We had an amazing experience with NaturaBase and our guide, Guillaume. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and informative throughout the entire kayak tour. Not only did he share a lot of interesting information during the experience, but he also recommended several great attractions and places to visit around the area. The tour itself was beautiful, peaceful, and very well organized. Guillaume also kindly shared photos from the tour afterward, which was a really thoughtful touch. If you are visiting the area, this is definitely a must-try experience. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely do it again!

5.00Guillaume was a great instructor leading our family of 6 with young kids. He was very knowledgeable and brought us to a beautiful spot where we were able to get out and walk around a pagoda with Mt Fuji views. It was a very memorable experience! Even Japanese treats for the littles after! Thank-you!

5.00An absolutely brilliant experience! I saw this through instagram and booked it and it exceeded expectations. The wind was too strong for our booked session, however the team were very proactive to provide alternative options. Thankfully the wind calmed down by the afternoon and we joined a great group. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful and took time and effort to get to know people and get some amazing photos. We were lucky that the weather was clear and we had a brilliant view of Mt Fuji. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again on our next visit to Japan.

5.00Our tour guide Grahame was excellent! He guided my girlfriend and me through my first-ever kayaking experience, which also happened to be on a perfect day with clear skies in the presence of mt fuji. After biking around Lake Kawaguchiko, we spent some time on the crystal clear water. Grahame offered great conversation and a welcoming personality. We felt at home halfway across the world. 20/10 birthday experience

5.00We had the best experience on our kayaking tour with CJ! The day started rough because we were late do to an accident on the highway. However, when we arrived, CJ still led us on a great tour and even let us bring our puppy! I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. I definitely recommend this activity to anyone looking for beautiful views, memories with pictures to document and a very peaceful, relaxing time! Great value and I would do this trip every day if possible.
