What To Expect
Join this 3-hour kayaking & snorkeling adventure in Tenerife and get up close and personal with turtles and dolphins in their natural environment. Enjoy the beauty of sighting these beautiful animals in the wild, responsibly respecting their freedom and habitat. The adventure takes you along the spectacular cliffs of Guaza Mountain, which is a natural monument. The mountain stands over 400 m above sea level and the picturesque vertical cliffs provide a sanctuary and nesting place for many species of birds. After snorkeling in crystal clear waters, kayaking back to the starting point allows a great opportunity to view the coast of Tenerife and Teide from the sea and almost every time we are lucky to see playful dolphins along the way. While turtles or dolphins sighting is not guaranteed, there is a 90% chance of seeing them during the tour. It is mandatory to be able to swim in order to take part in the activity. The minimum age is 14 years old, this activity is not suitable for pregnant ladies.

5.00After two postponements due to the storm, we were finally able to do our kayak tour – and it was absolutely worth it! ☀️ The weather was perfect and the tour was just fantastic. Our guide Jack was super friendly, explained a lot, joked in between and made us feel safe at all times. You immediately notice that he knows what he is doing and is there with a lot of passion. The absolute highlight: We saw dolphins – an unforgettable moment! 🐬 And again a huge thank you to Jack, who even rescued my phone from 8 m depth from the sea – absolute hero! 🙌🏼 Without him it would probably be part of the Atlantic now 🦀 And best of all: I even had a waterproof case with rope... still wasn’t enough 😬 A little tip for everyone: Take good care of your phones... I had already come to terms with the fact that it now lives in the sea 🙂 Thanks for this great experience – we would do it again anytime! ❤️

5.00Absolutely fantastic couple of hours. Really great guide/instructor Jack. We are a couple in our late 60s and felt really safe with the whole set up, kit provided and instructions. We saw Turtles and Dolphins, a great day. Would highly recommend even if you’ve not kayaked before, like us. Sean and Jane

5.00This is definitely a MUST do for Tenerife. We had a lovely morning with Mario and Jessi who were accommodating and great at pointing out the Turtles and Dolphins along the way. They were very knowledgeable about the island and the species on it. We were able to see many incredible fish snorkeling as well. They even took us to a cave. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience, I would 10/10 recommend Mario and Jessi.

5.00I read through the recessions before booking this activity and was a little skeptical about the sometimes bad recessions. That's why here's my feedback on the recessions: You have to sign at the beginning that you are physically able to go through with it and that if you can't, you have to go back. It is also explained that you have to be able to get back in the kayak by yourself. The guide (Jake) is on the move quickly, but he does not expect to follow him at the same pace. He's always waiting for everyone and you have plenty of time. You don't need to take a camera with you either, as he takes enough photos. All in all it is about 2-2.5h depending on the speed of the participants. It was fun and I would recommend it to anyone.
