Jiufen Old Street: A fun maze for the adventurous, but a stair workout for others. Not a fan of stairs? No worries—we’ve got plenty of other great tours without the climb!
Keelung Port has 2 different terminals. Important: please let us know are you arriving at East Passenger Terminal, or West Passenger Terminal? Please provide us the name of cruise ship, and time for pickup. Thank you!!!
Starting January 1, 2025, Jiufen will enforce holiday traffic controls (8 AM–8 PM). Tour buses and private cars must park in designated lots, with visitors taking shuttle buses to Jiufen Old Street.
A moderate amount of walking is involved.

5.00Definitely would recommend the Jiufen & Shifen Sky Lantern tour with Jennifer. She picked up our family from the Keelung port. Jennifer was well prepared - snacks, water, umbrellas & rain coats for us. Though it rained all day, Jennifer made it memorable. She speaks excellent English & is a great conversationalist. We will forever have fond memories of our trip. Love that she took photos & sent us a drawing of one of our pic!

5.00When we read that the tour was private we thought it probably meant a small bus. We were delighted to learn that Jennifer was our private tourguide and driver for my daughter and me. She did a great job of showing us everything, putting it in perspective, and maneuvering so I could eliminate some of the walking ( I am 91). We saw so much, had lumch in Old Street Juifen, saw the Golden Water Falls and sent up our wishes in the lantern and saw many other beautiful places. Jennifer was ready for our every need, including umbrellas when it started to rain, and taking pictures of all our adventures. I would recommend this tour and Jennifer to anyone who wants a great experience.

Her car was very comfortable and she asked us questions as we drove and customized the upcoming itinerary for our pleasure. Jennifer has a strong family history in Taiwan, her father came over with Chiang Kai-shek so she was able to share a rich perspective of the country and it's history. We did everything in the itinerary and more, "just down this street is another temple (or something else), would you like to see it?" was very common. She took care to explain the interesting melding and acceptance of different cultures and religions, often in the same temple. Her food recommendations were perfect. She provided water and a very thoughtful gift. She graciously accommodated my wife's physical limitations. I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer for a wonderful experience in Taiwan.

5.00We had a beautiful tour with a wonderful and very thoughtful guide. Our ship arrived 3 hours late, but Jennifer was there to greet us when we finally got off the ship. She took great care of my mom and I from start to finish. She helped us exchange money at the port. She helped my mom maneuver the old uneven streets at the slower pace she needed. She explained everything beautifully and helped us try new things. When it started pouring rain, she had umbrellas for us. She took many pictures of us everywhere we went for our keepsake memories. We enjoyed all of the sights and new experiences, such as sending our wishes in the air via a lantern. And Jennifer was the perfect person to guide us through everything.

5.00Tony was an amazing guide. Definitely one of our best tours. And his photography — a bonus! He expertly guided us through Juifen - picked out a delicious dumpling restaurant. Then onto the sky lantern experience which was an unexpected highlight. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful. We had a perfect day with Tony! Highly recommend.

5.00This is a great way to explore outside of Taipei without worrying about the logistics. Jennifer was a great tour guide and gave us history of the area and some great food and drink recommendations.
