Jiufen Old Street: A fun maze for the adventurous, but a stair workout for others. Not a fan of stairs? No worries—we’ve got plenty of other great tours without the climb!
Keelung Port has 2 different terminals. Important: please let us know are you arriving at East Passenger Terminal, or West Passenger Terminal? Please provide us the name of cruise ship, and time for pickup. Thank you!!!
Starting January 1, 2025, Jiufen will enforce holiday traffic controls (8 AM–8 PM). Tour buses and private cars must park in designated lots, with visitors taking shuttle buses to Jiufen Old Street.
One luggage for one traveler. Please don't bring oversize luggage.
A moderate amount of walking is involved.

2.00We got to our meeting point well on time, but our guide wasn’t there. We WA’d him, no reply. We contacted the office, who said he was in the meeting hall; he wasn’t. Then they said he was waiting outside; he wasn’t. More than half an hour later he came running into the hall. A bad start to the tour. We got whisked off along the coast to our first stop. It became obvious that Lyle couldn’t speak much English, so we sat in silence, with no commentary or info about our destinations. After the 1st stop, when we’re tried to leave for the next destination, our car wouldn’t start. There we sat for 25mins while Lyle cursed and swore trying to get us moving. Eventually the car started. We proceeded to the other destinations which all went as planned. Lyle was a friendly bloke and did his best for us, given the communication gap. But this trip was sold as a guided tour, that’s what we paid for and what we got was a silent taxi ride.

5.00It was a wet and dreary day, not ideal for seeing the best anywhere. Despite this Paul worked very hard to show us interesting places and make the most of our day in Taiwan with some genuine highlights. He was knowledgeable and considerate and was an excellent driver on some difficult roads. He took good care of us, got us back to the ship bang on time then sent us some lovely photos! Thank you Paul 😊

5.00We just finished our tour with Stanley Wu (Ah Hua), and he was awesome. He gave us a lot of interesting backgrounds of the places we visited. He took many pictures for us and even helped carry our baby stroller. We highly recommend having a tour with Stanley!

5.00Iris was our driver and picked us up promptly at our cruise terminal. Although her english was spotty, we did have a personal translator device to assist us. Her driving was awesome. Best driver so far. She was very cautious and we felt safe the entire time. Would definetly use again!

5.00Eddy was a great guide. He communicated with us a day before the tour to let us know where to meet. We went to two Falls, wrote hopes and wishes on a lantern and light them up to fly to the sky. Drove around by the coastline and tried all the delicious snacks in the market.

5.00Our day with Young was excellent. He communicated in advance and we met him easily at the cruise terminal. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but he guided us expertly to some wonderful places. We loved sending our lantern into the sky, seeing the gorgeous waterfall and exploring the touristy town of Juifen., among other stops. The tour has a nice mix of places to see outside of the busy city of Taipei. Young was very informative about Taiwan culture, food and history. He took the time to answer our questions honestly and openly. He is an excellent guide and we would highly recommend asking for him if booking this tour.
