I booked this in June 25 for my wife and me to experience and visit Taipei from Keelung port as a shore excursion. Booking was efficient, and communication was great right from the initial enquiry. Prior to arriving at Keelung, we were contacted by JTT via WhatsApp and introduced to our guide for the day, Jennifer, who basically took over things and coordinated the meeting point and time. After making contact in the cruise terminal, we set off for Taipei. Transfer to the city took about 40 minutes and we made a quick photo stop at the Taiwan Presidential Building. Being a Sunday morning, the roads were really quiet and we were able to cross the city quickly without much hassle and were also finding parking spaces easy to find as well. From there, we made our way to The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, which is a landmark dedicated to the former leader. The walls are all decorated with white marble. We timed it perfectly to watch the Changing of the Guards ceremony and then climbed the 89 steps to see the bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek just inside the memorial hall at the top. It was then back down to the ground floor for a quick look at one or two of the exhibits in the museum and to take a look at his library room. I loved the fact that many of the depictions of Chiang Kai-shek showed him with a big smile on his face. Much better than the usual stoney-faced ones you see just about everywhere else. After a brief stop to photograph Liberty Square, we were on the move again and this time to visit Lungshan Temple, which is a well-known temple originally built in the 1700s and honours both Buddhist & Taoist deities. A lot of the detailing was absolutely stunning and I hope the photos are able to show this. Once we were done at the temple, it was time for lunch, and Jennifer had done her research and found three places that were practically vegan and whose menus were typical Taiwanese dishes. I can't remember the names of what we ate but can tell you it was really tasty. Our final stop was the Taipei 101 for a photo stop and a quick look around the huge shopping mall at it's base. All throughout the tour, Jennifer was taking our photos on her own phone and at the end of the tour sent them to us via WhatsApp. I have to say we had the most amazing time, and nothing was too much trouble for Jennifer; she was the perfect guide and host while showing us all around the city. We can thoroughly recommend Just Taiwan Tour, and in particular Jennifer, if you are lucky enough to get her as your guide.

Jennifer was our guide for the day and we couldn’t have asked for a better representative of the city. She was so kind and thoughtful. Jennifer met us at the cruise port on time and was patient with us as it took a while for us to get thru immigration. After pick up she carefully drove us thru all the sights & sounds with stop throughout the day. I can’t recommend this tour and especially Jennifer enough. She made our day memorable. I can’t recommend this tour company and the guide enough.

Jennifer was the perfect tour guide for our Taipei city tour. Friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, the day couldn’t have gone any better. Comms were excellent ahead of time and Jennifer was waiting for us at the cruise terminal for pick up. She adjusted the tour as we went to linger a little longer at places of interest. We’d use Jennifer again and highly recommend her for your tour in Taiwan.

Our driver was waiting in the terminal to meet us. She was on time and ready to go. She efficiently drove us to Taipei and around all the sights. Unfortunately she had very little knowledge and failed to provide much information. That said we enjoyed the day.

Our guide Young Lin was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable about the history of all the stops we went to. He explained customs, beliefs and culture. He was very open, personable and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. He took us to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall (impressive monument) just in time for changing to the guard! Which was impressive as well. We appreciated him sharing the rich heritage of Taiwan. Would absolutely recommend this tour with Young Lin.
