This trip is best suited for families with children under 10 years old, or folks who are on a tight time budget, or folks who want an adventure with less commitment to activity.
This is a fully guided 2-day backcountry canoe adventure. No experience is necessary, minimal to no portaging, suitable for everyone.
This trip isn't a backcountry slog- our main focus is time spent at camp, so this is especially perfect for young families or folks who have limited time and want to relax. I highly recommend this trip if you have young children!
Our Keji Canoe Trip will begin with a rendezvous at our headquarters at Jake's Landing. We'll repack your items in our waterproofs, have a quick lunch (we provide this!) and then take off into the wilderness. On hot days we might swim from a canoe flotilla, or catch some shade and a snack under an old growth hemlock tree.
We aim to blend luxury and comfort with Nova Scotia’s unforgettable landscape to create an adventure perfect for anyone to enjoy.

A fantastic tour with a super nice friendly and knowledgeable guide (Dylan) who also proved to be a perfect cook. A great tour through wonderful landscape. Beautiful camping spot, offering plenty of swimming in the lake. My wife and me and our grown up daughters enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Very easy to rent from these folks. The staff was super helpful. Even discovered a new way to transport the canoe with the foam bumper blocks.

Rugged, quiet, and private. Including our excellent guide, it was just the three of us canoeing along the entire lake. The experience was wonderful, and we loved every bit of it - yes even the nature inspired 'facilities' :)

A great paddling experience on the lakes. Terrific camaraderie with our friendly guide who cooked lovely breakfast and dinner and picnics for lunches. Typically about 3-4 hours paddling per day.

One of the best trips I’ve done in terms of scenery, enjoyment and careful guiding. Carlene and Dylan were perfect company, full of information and fun - and the route and campsites made us feel like we had the whole of Nova Scotia to ourselves!

Just got back from an incredible canoe trip in Kejimkujik! We paddled out to Island Site #14 and spent the night there. Despite some wind and a bit of rain, the experience was absolutely worth it. The weather added to the adventure without taking away from the beauty of the park. The campsite was clean, peaceful, and perfectly located for a quiet night surrounded by nature. We were really impressed with how well-maintained everything was, especially considering the early season. Overall, a refreshing and memorable trip — can’t wait to go back!

We had so much fun during our camping. We were been so lucky to have a place like Keji. We did Kayaking and walking to the woods and of course a lovely lake beach. Thank you
