Ed was very patient with a party with three kids including a neurodiverse kid. He was prepared with water, emesis bag, polythin bag. His vehicle was very clean and Ed gave us all the information as a guide/historical information and planned the trip to ensure we met less crowd in various spots. We wanted to see Edinburg castle but that was not in the trip itinerary so he was nice enough to drop us off at the Edinburg castle(Royal mile street). We would have missed a fun walk without that.

Ed was a fantastic guide. Very friendly and knew a lot about all of the places he took us from Stirling Castle, to Luss, to The Kelpies, to the Bridges at Queens Ferry. We’ve been on many private guided tour in Europe and Ed’s at the top!

Our tour with Ed was fantastic. He gave a great bit of history while we were traveling, provided an excellent tour of Stirling Castle, and even stopped at one additional site we had wanted to see but wasn't officially on the tour. For anyone else nervous about driving on the left side of the road, this was a great way to branch out from Edinburgh without being part of a big tour group. My wife and I loved it and would highly recommend.

We wanted a customised private tour for our small family and we came accross this tour from Ed Tours. Ed was thoroughly professional as he contacted us 3 days prior to the tour and guided us with all the tickets and bookings for the iternery along with the timing. He made arrangements for my kids car seat and his car was equipped with small fridge , water bottles sanitizers and masks. He had comprehensive knowledge about the iternary mentioned and scottish history. He also maintains some good collection about the places around scotland for reference incase interested in reading while being on the journey. He is very accomodative and a very kind person as he will let you have your time with the beautiful places at your pace. I would highly recommend Ed tours for anyone who wants to have a private experience of scotland
