Fantastic tour and highly recommend. Booking experience was flawless, moved our dates to accommodate better weather and did not have any issues, check in was friendly and efficient. The Captain and her all female team took very good care of us and adjusted the tour based on the story of the day - a calving glacier and a super pod of whales. Lunch was "meh", but not the emphasis of our expectations.

What a singular experience! Otters, puffins, whales, glaciers (and glaciers calving), sea lions… so many amazing sights! The ride was comfortable and fun, and Captain Mike and the NJ crew were informative, capable, and friendly. Highly recommended.

The excellent captain and crew made for a pleasurable voyage on the 6 hour Classic Kenai Fjords Park Tour. The ship (Aialik Voyager) was comfortable, even in the rain. Animals are moving out of the area in early September, but we were fortunate to see a humpback whale; sea otters, sea lions, mountain goats, jelly fish and birdlife were prevalent. The overcast day made for beautiful blue coloration of the glaciers. Seasickness is possible when the seas are rough (especially during the 25 minute sea crossing); first level, outdoor seating is best. Consider pre-medicating if this has been an issue for you previously.

The crew was excellent — very friendly and attentive throughout the tour. The captain always pointed out where to look and what we were seeing: orcas, seals, sea lions, an eagle, and even an otter. They made sure to slow down or stop so that everyone had a chance to see the wildlife. I also appreciated their drink deal: for $12 you could buy a souvenir cup and get unlimited refills of soda, coffee, and tea. At the end of the trip, we were treated to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, which was a wonderful surprise. Lunch, however, was a bit underwhelming — just a burrito and chips. For such a long cruise, it would be nice to have a hot meal option, like soup and some protein. Connectivity was also an issue for me. Since I work remotely, being without signal for six hours was stressful. It would be great if the boat were equipped with Wi-Fi, even if paid. The highlight of the cruise was seeing the glacier up close. The crew even brought a piece of glacier ice on board so we could touch it — and even use it in our drinks! Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would definitely recommend. Just be sure to dress warmly, as it can get quite windy out on the water.

Highly recommend. We saw whales, sea lions, mountain goats, and a melting glacier. The crew was great. Tip: bring sea sickness medication and look at the horizon when the waters get bumpy.

Wonderful experience with crew that explained what we were seeing. I learned a lot about things I had no knowledge of.

It was a great experience! Completely worth it! Definitely be prepared for the journey where the waves rock the boat. It was beautiful in so many ways. Seeing the beauty of nature, the animals, the scenery, all of it.

The boat ride was great. The all female crew did a very good job awnsering question and being informative of what was the boat was doing at all times. Just a little caution you will have alot of motion with the boat on part of the tour. Great Job!

What a fantastic experience. Everyone on the boat crew was very responsive to our needs and questions. We saw so much wildlife, including bald eagles, sea otters, birds, seals, and most of all a black bear on the shore near one of the. Glaciers. Also, the lunch they served was quite good. A chicken burrito with chips and salsa. Tasty. And then towards the end of the cruise, they served everyone warm chocolate chip cookies. It was fantastic. They also have drinks, sodas, juices, coffee, if you’d want to buy something. Would definitely recommend this if you are in Seward.
