5.00Sydney was awesome as one of the crew! She was there for all our needs!! We consider her family! The musician playing that evening, Lerorgie, was awesome! Love you brother! Everything was very organized and enough food for everyone! Plan on coming back!

1.00110 people boarded and had to ascend steep stairs to an open deck. After everyone was present the captain announced that there were only 2 toilets for 110 people plus the crew. He explained how to operate the toilets. Next we were told the entertainment was unpaid and he’d only receive tip money. The crew are paid a nominal sum around $5 an hour and they split whatever tips are deposited in a bucket at the end of the cruise as people step off of the boat. I saw one person leave a tip as I waited to depart the ship. We were about the 25th and 26th people to exit the ship. So with my tip, my guess is the math wasn’t in the crew’s favor. The meal was pedestrian and uncomfortable. There was seating for 55 people that wasn’t explained in the briefing so all 110 people descended from the top deck to dine. Then 55 were asked to leave their seats and go back up to the top deck. Many did not comply so the dining area was jammed. Those that did comply were at the mercy of the elements. When the first shift finished dining the were instructed to leave their seats enclosed area and go up to the top deck. The crew worked hard, the company charged top dollar and the crew got the shaft. Several very obviously inebriated people were allowed to board the ship and were disruptive and non responsive to any direction from the crew. The captain sailed anyway. My opinion is this is a company that isn’t ethical to their crew or customers. I would suggest you look anywhere but Sunset Sports to take cruises or even rent equipment or experiences.
