  Nice alternative to a full day being stuck in 4x4. You don't see much of the island other than an long beach but it's still worth doing

  Unsure about what to expect, the half day tour turned out to be a great way to relax and spend time by the beach. From the coordinated way they served the morning tea, organised a boat load of people to get on and off shore, serve lunch and provide the right amount of commentary, Whalesong have it nailed. Was a great day out.

  Went on the trip with my son, he jumped off the boat and swam, I rode in the tender to shore The crew were great and managed to cater for all ages. They provided plenty of beach/water sports options, lunch was surprisingly good too! Recommend the trip if you only have half a day

  K'gari Island is magical with pristine sand and clear water, best swims ever. I loved the relaxed atmosphere on the boat, the crew were really friendly and helpful plus. A long time since I've been in a kayak, one of the crew offered to come with me, nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed the simple clean food and appreciated the complimentry glass of wine with lunch. Met some lovely people on board and would definitely go again with this company next time I'm in Hervey Bay.
