This class was well-run and a lot of fun! We were picked up at our hotel on time. After a short ride we arrived at the kitchen and were welcomed by Kong, a very friendly and upbeat host. We rode by tuk-tuk to a nearby traditional market where he led us through a tour. His enthusiasm for fruits and vegetables was both entertaining and educational! Then back to the kitchen where we were led through the steps to prepare a complete meal with appetizer, entree, fried rice, and dessert. It was delicious, and actually too much food! They took photos which they will forward to you along with full recipes. It was great fun and you definitely get your money's worth!

We had a great time here for the 3 hours we spent at the cooking class. We chose 4 dishes we would prepare and then we got an introduction into local vegetables/plants and a tour through the garden, where they had all the ingredients we would use in the end. While cooking, we learnt a lot and made great Khmer dishes like Fish Amok, Beef salad, stir fried rice and Tom Yun Soup. With Sorya, we had a great and fun teacher who taught us much about Khmer cuisine. An overall great experience!

The team is great - you learn a lot while visiting the market and explore the garden. We could individually choose what we like to cook (4 dishes in total) and the step by step guidance was easy to follow. So even if you are not cooking regularly I can highly recommend the course. Also with pickup and drop off at the hotel everything was perfectly arranged.

this was so fun with “king” Kong - to see the market, choose our dish and learn some skills. He was kind and happy and i would definitely recommend this. looking forward to going home and trying our new skills and his recipes

If you are looking for an amazing cooking experience in Siem Reap, do not hesitate !!! After the greetings and choosing your menu, you will experience the local market and get to smell and guess some vegetables and fruits with Kong. Along the way there, you will get to meet some of the vendors working with the establishment. As for the cooking class, you will have your own working space and tools and easy access to washrooms. If you can, request to be teamed with Sky and Siovan, teachers and cooks, who will make your experience as joyful and memorable as it can get. Their professionalism, cheerfulness and way to communicate will make it really easy to cook some of the best and famous Khmer cuisine.
Such a fun experience! Left with a full belly AND heart!

Can’t recommend this experience enough! A 15 minute tuk tuk ride out of town to a lovely community - the air is so fresh. After being granted with a cool bottle of water, I enjoyed the tour of their private gardens to see several of the ingredients we used (the remainder are purchased from others in the community - love neighbors supporting neighbors!). The class was fun - my first attempt at flambé was a success - no eyebrows lost 😆 I appreciated being able to choose my own menu and love that I’ll be able to recreate them at home. Don’t hesitate - book this tour!!

Excellent class with delicious food, Khong and Sorya were brilliant teachers. Highly recommend to do while in Siem Reap.
