Our boats carry 12 passengers each. This allows for small intimate tailored tours. For group booking larger than 12 people, they will be seperated into two boats. Be sure to bring your camera as there are some fantastic views of the Castle and other sights of kilkenny. See the city as both invaders and settlers did, from the river. Our guides cater each trip individually depending on your knowledge of kilkenny history and that of the river Nore, including it's wildlife. This trip will leave you feeling relaxed and having a little more knowledge of the city's colourful characters and past.

5.00The boat trip is relaxing and allows to see Kilkenny’s main monuments from a different perspective and away from crowds. Our guide was very kind and helpful and gave us many tips on places to eat and taste bear as well as other attractions.

5.00We were exhausted having just landed from the States. This was a lovely and leisurely way to get acquainted with Kilkenny. For those who aren’t sure footed, it’s a little bit of a challenge but worth it. Maryann will get you sorted and keep you engaged with her historical stories. She’s an absolute delight.

5.00Our boat captain, Elder, was super kind, very knowledgeable, not in a hurry, and gave us a wonderful experience!! Very worth the $, even if it wasn’t a far trip, it brought us near castles, and old bridges for some really cool pics!!

5.00What a great little boat trip! Ana Marie was so knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us a history lesson on the town and it was perfect. I highly recommend this tour when coming to Kilkenny.
