Ross Castle
You can either choose to do a direct route to Ross castle and stop for a walk around the grounds or you can choose the lakes route and have a stop on the lake shore over looking the castle to take photos and take in the views!! But

5.00Jason made this tour unforgettable! He was so kind and welcoming and shared the history of what we were seeing & the best stories! So entertaining! We could have listened to him share stories for hours! He even sang some great Irish songs, & had a great voice! Seriously the best tour guide we could have asked for! This was one of the highlights of our Ireland trip- we’d definitely do it again! Yes the scenery was great, but it was Jason that made this the best!

5.00Damien is absolutely wonderful! Not only was he very knowledgeable but very personable and professional. It was a cold rainy, cold venting snowy morning and he made sure we were comfortable with blankets, umbrellas, and even offered coffee. Height recommend!

5.00Really lovely day with spectacular views around the Ring of Kerry. Plenty of opportunities for great photographs, enough stops to be comfortable but not too many. Great lunch, authentic fish and chips overlooking the water. Enjoyed the bog village. Shelia, our guide was fantastic. Even sang some Irish folk songs for us and gave us really good narrative of what we were seeing.

5.00Me and my partner travel around Ireland every Valentines(anniversary)weekend. This year had been the worst we've experienced due to such bad weather, you could just about see your hand infront of your face. This carriage tour was the last on our to-do list before heading home and i can wholeheartedly say it saved our weekend. Damien & Daisy(horse) were brilliant. Damien was full of knowledge, character and showed passion in his work throughout our tour. It was quite the relaxing experience. Thankfully our tour was blessed with sunshine, the first we'd experienced our whole weekend. We got views of the mountains, historical structures and the marvellous wildlife. The carriage was well sheltered and blankets were provided. Damien gave us recommendations on where to eat and where to visit when we ended our tour in the town just as the weather had turned, he sent us on our way with an old umbrella he had lying about the carriage. Said umbrella is now our souvenir from our trip. Thank you. We would highly recommend the McCarthy carriage tours just for the sheer experience and history knowledge provided... you won't be disappointed. This tour alone has encouraged us to make the journey and revisit again in the near future. Thank you again for a lovely end to our trip from Naomi & Aidan.

5.00This was such a wonderful experience, and we are so glad this was our introduction to Killarney and the national park. We got to view it from a slower pace with a kind, knowledgable guide, and even with a bit of rain, it was not spoiled at all. This is I would, and already have, recommended to anyone visiting the area.
