The guide was informative and friendly . I would highly recommend this tour . The guide was very knowledgeable on history and spoke English very well . He also had a wonderful sense of humor. As they say first impressions mean everything ! This impression was a good start to the first time experience to Cambodia .

Started the day at the Killing Fields. What an eerie place that is full of the remnants of such an atrocity. Afterwards it was the tuk tuk tour which was brilliant fun. It culminated with a traditional floating lunch at a local village. Really good day and many thanks go out to our fantastic guide Nute. Great fun to be with

Truly exceptional tour company and guide. Thong planned for all eventualities and catered for our varied levels of fitness. Cannot give him a high enough rating.

I cannot praise the service we received from Thong of Vana Adventures enough! He thought of all eventualities from a logistical point of view and tailored the cycling to our abilities. His English is excellent and he shared his wealth of knowledge and opinions openly.

We had Thong as our tour guide and he was so warm and friendly. It was a hot day but every effort was made to make sure that we were comfortable. Thong’s knowledge of the local landscape and agricultural practices was second to none. All our questions were answered in detail and his excellent English language skills made communication a breeze. I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Phnom Penh and wants to see something a bit out of the city. Sovattey & Andrew

Thong is a superstar, who everyone should meet when coming to Cambodia. My bike tour alongside the rice paddies is an experience I will never forget. Thong and his team went over the top to make our 9+ hour experience authentic and educational. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience and hope to see you next time we visit Cambodia!

Amazing adventure with an amazing guide! Highly recommend. Throng really showed us “off the beaten” path but kept us comfortable and informed. Amazing trip for those who like outdoors and seeing a little more than the “typical” phnom Pehn … just biking and interacting with locals was a true highlight of our trip. 100% recommend !

The first part of the tour is about 30 km of biking through villages and rice fields. This was a wonderful experience and it felt like we got a very unique perspective on the Cambodian countryside. Second stop was at a temple where we unfortunately felt very unwelcome by the locals who were hanging around and sleeping in the temple. We quickly left as we felt quite uncomfortable and did not want to disturb. Third stop is for lunch at a very nice local restaurant, before we were let into the genocidal center where we were given an audio guide. The tour guide and our driver was waiting outside as we explored the killing fields. After about 1,5 hour we met up with our guide again and they took us back to our hotel. Our guide was very kind and tried his best to be helpful but unfortunately he did not speak English very well. There is no guided tour in the killing fields, but that is probably for the best as the audio guide is great and it gives you well needed time to reflect at your own pace. In all we and a pleasant day and we’re quite content. However, considering the guides broken English and the quite expensive price I think and average score is fair. If possible, I would recommend only doing the biking part, which really was fantastic, and then visiting the killing fields on your own, without a tour.
